The Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon and ½ Marathon will take place on November 16, 2008. Its course will run throughout all of San Antonio, including The Alamo, San Pedro Park, King William District, Southtown Arts District, Mission Concepcion, Mission San Jose, Mission Espada, and the Tower of the Americas.



Race Times:

7:25am – Wheelchair Invitational Start

7:30am – Marathon & ½ Marathon Start

Festivities and concerts will continue throughout the day and evening.

The inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon and ½ Marathon is the newest addition to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon series. It features a scenic course and ideal running temperatures in the mid-60’s, and is the perfect destination for a late-fall running vacation. Participants and families can combine athletic conquests with a weekend getaway in Texas’ cultural mecca.
