Cibolo’s annual celebration of entertainment, fun and games, Cibolo Fest, will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 at City Hall

For the second year in a row, the Cibolo Community Advancement Network, whose objective is to help improve recreational facilities and youth activities in Cibolo, will be putting on the event.

“Proceeds (from the event) will go towards improving and enhancing our public parks in the city,” said CCAN president and Cibolo Mayor Jennifer Hartman.

Because of construction on Main Street, this year’s Cibolo Fest will be held entirely on the City Hall grounds near the corner of Main Street and Loop 539. Parking will be available behind City Hall. People will be able to enter the ground from FM 78 east to Main Street or from Loop 539 east to Main Street.

Cibolo Fest will have a variety of activities for the family, including live music, amusement rides and games. There will be a “market square” for local and regional vendors, a farmer’s market, food booths and a pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch will be set up at City Hall from Oct. 18-31. Pumpkin patch hours are noon- 7 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.

In addition to musical acts, Fest attendees will be able to see groups from across the Metrocom, such as CCAN, perform dances and demonstrate karate techniques.
