Lillian Daura-Hamilton of Bulverde won an award on Nov. 1 for her entry in the ninth annual Texas Furniture Makers Show in Kerrville. Her entry, titled “Octupus Bench,” won the Best Furniture with Decorative Carving award, donated by Alamo Hardwoods of San Antonio. The exhibition, which features 67 handcrafted pieces by the best custom furniture makers in Texas, is on display at the Kerr Arts & Cultural Center in Kerrville until Dec. 6.
