Jet Specialty Inc. broke ground Monday on its new corporate headquarters located at 211 Market Ave. inside Boerne Industrial Park. The proposed two-story office and warehouse, totaling approximately 18,000 square feet, is expected to be completed by January.

Jet Specialty, privately owned by Tom Darter, is a leading independent supply, instrumentation and gas measurement company serving the oil and gas industry since 1980 with 14 locations in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Jet Specialty also operates Jet Fabrication, a full service ASME code fabrication facility in Corpus Christi. Jet Specialty currently employs over 150 people.
