Melissa Haberstroh was appointed as a member of the AmericasMart Atlanta Gift and Home Furnishings Advisory Board.

Haberstroh, the owner of The Burlap Horse in Boerne, was selected as an accomplished retailer and as a result of her national involvement and leadership in the retail industry.

Haberstroh was one of three retailers across the country selected for this two-year appointment.

As a member of the board, Haberstroh will be working with a select group of business owners and leaders charged with helping to guide the mission and vision of the AmericasMart Atlanta organization, the world’s largest trade mart/trade show organization.

AmericasMart Atlanta is the largest wholesale marketplace of its kind in the world, and is a leading international market source for a wide variety of consumer goods. It hosts 23 wholesale markets and six Market Wednesdays that annually attract more than 548,000 attendees from every U.S. state and 80 countries.

Retailers attending its markets identify AmericasMart as the gift/home furnishings/area rug wholesale marketplace most important to their business — as compared to all competing U.S. wholesale markets — in independent research conducted by Moore & Symons, Inc.
