The Northside Board of Trustees have approved a proposal that will move areas now in the Clark, O'Connor, and Marshall high school attendance areas to Brandeis High School, which opens in 2008. The plan also includes several associated boundary changes that will move areas now in Taft to O'Connor, and from O'Connor to Marshall, and from Clark to Marshall.

The preliminary proposal was presented to the board Aug. 21, and a public hearing was held Sept. 10. The board voted Sept. 25.

Major neighborhood communities affected include affected include: Arcadia, Auburn Ridge, Bloomfield Hills, Cantera Heights, Cielo Ridge, Cresta Bella, Crownridge, Dell Oak Park, Eilan, Greywalls Enclave, Las Ventanas Townhomes, Legend Lane Townhomes, Maverick Creek, Regency Meadow, Steeple Brook, Stonewall Ranch and Estates, Summit Oaks, Terra Mont, The Enclave at La Cantera, The Heights of CrownRidge, The Park at University Hill, The Springs at Boerne Stage Road, Walnut Pass at Boerne Stage and Woodthorn.

Apartment complexes affected include: University Oaks (6685 UTSA Blvd. and various other addresses) Verde Ridge (6522 Camp Bullis).

Other areas under development also will be in the school’s boundaries.
