Courtesy photo Special to the Bulverde News Eighteen winning student projects at the Comal ISD District Middle School Science Fair will advance to the Alamo Regional Science and Engi-neering Fair in San Antonio in March. Students from Canyon, Smithson Valley and Spring Branch middle schools participated in the district science fair at SBMS Dec. 8. Canyon Middle School’s Lauren Boyd won the Best of Show award. Other first-place winners in their category were Canyon Middle School’s Beau Faseler and Clinton Huish. Other students finishing in the top six in their category at the district fair that will be advancing to the Alamo Regional Science and Engi-neering Fair include Savannah Gray of Spring Branch Middle School and Caelyn Newman. Team projects advancing included Emily Young and Samantha Frank of Smithson Valley Middle School, and Miranda Alvarado and Frankie Cybulski from Spring Branch Middle School. |
