Sweet Frannie is a plump, lovable rat terrier. We think she is pure bred, but we have no way of knowing for sure. What we do know is that Francine is a sweetheart and everyone who meets her falls in love. She is well behaved, knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. We believe she is house trained but again, we are not completely sure.

She is one smart cookie and will learn very fast if the reward for going outside IS a cookie.

Francine gets along well with kids, adults, dogs, cats, but we aren’t sure about ferrets! Francine would prefer to be a house dog that lives primarily indoors. She is the perfect pet if you are looking for a family dog or someone to take longs strolls after work with.

At all of our adoption events, she is like the energizer bunny; we are all dragging after a long day and Francine is still going strong, running in circles begging for a treat.

We have found that Francine loves to be the center of attention and will dance around you to make sure she stays that way. What a deal – a little dog who loves laps, has smarts, and short hair that is easy to care for, with the added bonus of a sparkling, award winning smile – who could resist?

If you would like to meet Francine, stop by on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or call (830) 980-2247(BAHS) for other days and times. Visit our Web site to adopt or make donations at www.bulverdeareahumanesociety.com.
