SUNDAY, NOV. 2 9:27 a.m., 200 Frey – Theft of landscape tools was reported. 12:51 p.m., 100 W. Kronkosky – A 911 caller said someone tried to break into her vehicle. Officers photographed the damage on the vehicle and dusted for prints. 3:07 p.m., 100 N. Plant – An officer assisted a motorist whose left front tire fell off and rolled down East Blanco. 3:29 p.m., 1100 S. Main – An officer advised a father who wanted his minor son to move out of the house. MONDAY, NOV. 3 10:15 a.m., 1400 E. Blanco – An officer arrested a driver’s license applicant with an active Kerr County warrant. 1:22 p.m., 31500 Interstate 10 West – A hotel clerk called for assistance with a guest who had not vacated by checkout time. A responding officer advised the guest that he would have to pay for another night. He did so. 3:05 p.m., 200 W. Highland – One person was arrested for DWI. 4:20 p.m., 100 W. Bandera – A caller reported more than $1,000 in unauthorized charges to his bank account. 6:33 p.m., 1500 S. Main – A trucker parked in a traffic lane overnight waiting for a business to open was advised to move his rig to the Wal-Mart parking lot. 8:36 p.m., 100 Dobie Springs – A caller said he found a threatening letter with knives on his front porch. TUESDAY, NOV. 4 7:26 a.m., 400 W. Bandera – A merchant became suspicious when a man came into her business, identified himself as an investigator, and began questioning her about her credit card system. 9:21 a.m., 100 S. Main – A complainant who felt she’d been ripped off by a buyer of some of her property was advised it was a civil matter. 7:34 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A bag of money was found in a shopping cart. WEDNESDAY, NOV. 5 2:20 a.m., Water at Bandera – A 911 caller reported an alarm going off. Police are investigating the theft of more than $1,000 in merchandise from a business. 11:16 a.m., 100 Bentwood – A man requesting a civil standby was advised by police not to proceed because a court order prevents him from access to the property. He was advised the courts will handle property division disputes with his ex-wife. THURSDAY, NOV. 6 12:06 p.m., 36700 Interstate 10 West – An unattended death in a hotel room was reported. Police are investigating the incident. 1:43 p.m., 100 Richter – One man was arrested on an active Kendall County warrant for Class C theft. 5:03 p.m., 1200 S. Main – A pedestrian struck by a vehicle sustained a closed head injury and was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital. 5:43 p.m., 100 Hampton Way – A resident who parked a junked car in a yard was advised it is a violation of a city ordinance. She stated the car would be moved the next day. SUNDAY, NOV. 9 9:36 a.m., 700 River – An officer observed a nervous male subject trying to gain entry to a vehicle. A short time later, the vehicle’s owner yelled down from her apartment that her keys were locked in the vehicle and she’d given permission to the man to try to gain entry. The officer provided advise on proper action to take. 4:43 p.m., 900 S. Main – A woman kicked out of a room passed out at the front door of the room. A responding officer was able to wake her and found her highly intoxicated. He observed a bottle of prescription pills that had been filled with 120 pills and contained only eight remaining pills. The woman was transported to Boerne Methodist for treatment. 4:59 p.m., 500 E. Bandera – A caller reported that a vehicle had been sideswiped overnight. There were no witnesses or suspects. 10:14 p.m., 200 Bess – An officer stood by while a vehicle was repossessed. MONDAY, NOV. 10 8:37 a.m., 1600 S. Main – An officer checking the roadway for a reported slippery substance found it wet from the rain. 5:22 p.m., 1300 S. Main – After a 911 call, a responding officer gave advice to the driver of a sports car about her driving habits. TUESDAY, NOV. 11 2:44 p.m., Greyhound Lane – An officer assisted as EMS attended to a man who fell 15 feet out of a scissor lift. He was transported to Boerne Methodist. 4:46 p.m., 1300 S. Main – One person was arrested for an outstanding Kendall County 216th District felony warrant for delivery of marijuana to a child. 8:29 p.m., 100 Saddle Club – An officer issued a written warning to a resident for a barking dog. 8:44 p.m., 200 S. Main – Two minors who said they’d helped themselves to alcoholic beverages at a social event were issued minor in possession citations. WEDNESDAY, NOV. 12 8:15 a.m., 538 MM Interstate 10 East – An officer assisted a county deputy who had stopped a stolen vehicle. 8:18 a.m., 1100 S. Main – An employee reported unknown actors tried to pry open a money machine, damaging a sign in the process. 2:55 p.m., 400 W. Bandera – One person was arrested for public intoxication. 4:17 p.m., 1300 S. Main – An officer investigating theft by an employee found an active Kerr County warrant for theft by check and arrested her. 10:46 p.m., 700 Rosewood – An officer who stopped a vehicle with defective brake light recognized the front seat passenger, who had three outstanding local warrants. The passenger was unable to pay $1,067 in fines and was arrested. THURSDAY, NOV. 13 12:06 a.m., 600 W. Bandera – One person was arrested for possession of marijuana. 5:35 p.m., 100 Bentwood – A caller suspected her ex-husband of disconnecting her cable line. An officer observed the cable box at the residence yanked off the wall. He replaced the cable and advised the woman to contact her service provider and to call the police if she observes her ex-husband in the area. Fair Oaks Ranch FRIDAY, NOV. 7 10:24 a.m., 7900 Fair Oaks Parkway – Tree trimmers chopped down a tree in the city right of way, but couldn’t tell an officer why they did it because they spoke Spanish. When the boss was called, he said the company was hired to cut down the dead tree by a homeowners’ association. 7:45 p.m., 28000 Equestrian – After neighbors reported a suspicious vehicle, an officer made contact with filmmakers, who said they would be at the house for the next two weekends filming a horror movie. |
