Thelma McKay, grandmother of Scenic Oaks resident Dana Shannon, reached the100-year milestone on October 10, 2007 with the incredible feat of mounting a real live Texas Longhorn. A flu shot clinic will be held 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 208 W. Bandera in Boerne. The clinic, sponsored by the St. Mark Parish Nursing Committee and Boerne Acute Care, will be held in the CE/ELC building, which is the first building behind the main structure.
