Retest for high school exit tests scheduled |

Former students interested in taking the high school Exit Level TAKS or TAAS tests in March 2008 have until Jan. 25 to register to take the tests. Successful performance on the state-mandated exit level TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) or TAAS (Texas Assessment of Academic Skills) is required for a diploma. The retest will be administered at the Education Service Center, 1314 Hines Ave., on the following dates: Tuesday, March 4 TAKS English Language Arts; TAAS Writing Wednesday, March 5 TAKS Mathematics; TAAS Mathematics Thursday, March 6 TAKS Science; TAAS Reading Friday, March 7 TAKS Social Studies Former students may register online for the retest at http://k12testing.tx.ncspearson.com or submit a paper registration. Registration packets are available at any Northside ISD high school or at the Testing & Evaluation Department, 5651 Grissom Road.
