The CE Group, a San Antonio event-based marketing company, will move its corporate headquarters to the historic Pearl Brewery and become the first office tenant in the complex, announced President and CEO Janet Holliday.

More than 30 employees will move in this month into approximately 7,000 square feet in Pearl’s newly renovated Full Goods Building, a former warehouse being adapted as mixed-use office, retail and residential space.

“This was a natural evolution for us,” said Holliday. “Our ongoing role in marketing and managing the Pearl Stable, coupled with our need for more space, made this a logical next step. As a creative firm, we’re excited to be part of such an artistic, vibrant and evolving environment.”

Pearl Brewery Managing Director Paul Beard noted that the CE Group fits the creative environment that is emerging at Pearl. “The Full Goods Building will house the AIA-San Antonio, the Architecture Foundation and the Nature Conservancy, as well as creative new endeavors by Chef Andrew Weissman and Melissa Guerra,” Beard said. “Adding the CE Group and its creative staff brings another type of energy and life to Pearl.”

Holliday added that 2007 and 2008 have been banner years for the 18-year-old firm, which recently added a national sports Division and a major production component to its event-based marketing services. The firm also acquired a destination management company.
