Toffee Michele Wilson and Jake Edward McAlister
Mr. and Mrs. Word B. Wilson of Midland announce the engagement of their daughter, Toffee Michele Wilson, to Jake Edward McAlister, son of Dr. Elizabeth McAlister of San Antonio and Mr. Kyle McAlister of Horseshoe Bay. Ms. Wilson is the granddaughter of Mr. And Mrs. J. Cecil Rhodes and the late William B. Wilson and the late Mary Glover Wilson. Mr. McAlister is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Lynn Edward Healy and the late George Allen McAlister and the late Lavonia Shipp McAlister.

The couple will be married at 6:30 p.m. June 30 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Midland High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Texas and her Master’s of Business Administration degree in entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business in Austin. Ms. Wilson was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and is currently a finance associate at Brigham Exploration in Austin.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Washington and lee University in Lexington, Va., Mr. McAlister was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and is currently an office and industrial real estate associate at Grubb and Ellis in Austin.

The couple will reside in Austin after the wedding.
