You’ve probably been planning your wedding since you were a little girl. The white dress, the flowers, the cake … so how come when the man of your dreams pops the question, you begin to feel slightly overwhelmed? Maybe because you didn’t realize how many minute details go into planning a beautiful wedding. There are the obvious things such as selecting a venue and booking a photographer, but there are other things that can be easily overlooked, such as sending “save the date” cards or arranging for transportation.

So many of today’s brides simply don’t have the time to attend to all those details and, in trying to keep everything straight, end up feeling stressed and panicked. That’s where the professionals at Wedding Planners, Inc. can help!

Wedding Planners, Inc. is made up of Betty Parish, Sue Bain, Maria Morgan and Sidney Wilkins, four delightful women for whom planning weddings has become second nature. With 20 years in the business, these women are experts at coordinating absolutely everything pertaining to weddings.

“We handle all of the countless details,” Betty said with a laugh.

The women of Wedding Planners Inc. care about each and every wedding. Whether large or small, traditional or contemporary, they want to help every bride to experience the wedding of her dreams.

"We are all ‘people’ people who really enjoy what we do,” Sidney said. “We all truly enjoy helping others and we see it as a service.”

The service begins with a “get to know you” meeting. This complimentary consultation allows the planner to get a feel for the bride, what she wants, her budget, etc., and it provides an opportunity for the bride and planner to visit and determine whether or not they’re a good fit.

So many brides don't have time to attend to all the details.
“The bride must feel comfortable,” explains Betty. “Trust is the main thing.”

Once that trust and communication is established, it’s time to get busy! Whether the bride wants a formal religious ceremony or an outdoor casual affair, Wedding Planners, Inc. can point her in the right direction.

Over the years, these women have established a list of only the best vendors including caterers, stationers, photographers and musicians. Wedding Planners does not receive any commissions or percentages from the vendors they suggest, so you can be assured that their recommendations are based solely on the vendor measuring up to the highest standards.

But even though Wedding Planners, Inc. offers its own recommendations, the ladies are happy to work with any outside vendors the bride has already selected.

The purpose of Wedding Planners Inc. is to make the months and weeks leading up to a wedding as relaxing and fun as possible. The planner will do things such as make arrangements for out-of-town guests, oversee transportation, pick up and deliver the wedding attire, deliver items to the reception site, plan wedding programs and advise on etiquette and customs. Nothing is too big or too small for these ladies to handle. They even provide the bride with what they refer to as the “South Texas Checklist” to help her stay on track during the planning process. It includes such details as remembering to hire babysitters, if needed, and changing your driver’s license.

Can you plan a wedding without a wedding planner? Sure … but why on earth would you want to?

“Wedding planners matter to brides because we allow them to truly enjoy and be guests at their own wedding,” Sidney said.

Relax — and let Wedding Planners, Inc., help you enjoy the happiest day of your life.
