The Boerne Greyhound varsity track team captured 13 medals in as many events at Friday’s Antler Relays in Kerrville.

Jordan Baccus won the shot put competition with a throw of 37-7.

Hannah McCord finished first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.80.

Kendra Szymarek struck gold in the 200-meter dash with a run of 26.60.  Szymarek also hauled away a silver medal in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13-seconds-flat.

Kristen Cooper placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 33.9.

Madeline Hurdt finished second in discus with a toss of 104-0 and the 800-meter relay team completed the Lady Hounds’ medal haul with a second place time of 1:51.50.

Distance runner Lorin Wilson led the way for the Boerne boys with a pair of gold medals.

Wilson won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.50 and nailed first place in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:34.70.

Cutty Young captured a silver medal in long jump with a distance of 21-1 and Eliott Wyatt finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.50.

Pole vaulter Austin Freeman won a bronze medal with a leap of 14-feet-flat and the 1,600-meter relay team captured third place with a time of 3:32.10.

Boerne hosts the annual Greyhound Relays at the high school campus Saturday with a full day of track-and-field action beginning at 8 a.m.
