10:24 a.m., 100 Hwy. 46 – An injury accident involving an 18-wheeler blocked both lanes of Hwy. 46. Firefighters cleared oil and fuel, and medics attended to the driver who had a possible hip injury.

11:21 a.m. , 31000 IH-10 West – A customer wrote a hot check for $68,446.21, making off with a 2007 Mercedes-Benz.

2:23 p.m., 1200 S. Main – A doctor’s office called to report a prescription pad had been stolen and fraudulent prescriptions were being written at Walgreen’s Pharmacy.

7:22 p.m., 535 MM Interstate 10 East – An officer initiated a traffic stop after following a swerving white Ford minivan and arrested a 46-year-old male for DWI with outstanding Bexar County warrants for theft of service.

1:45 p.m., 1400 Blanco – Officers assisted in the arrest of a 20-year-old male with Kendall County warrants for racing on the highway.

7:51 p.m., 100 Kenwood – An elderly male found lying on the floor of his home was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital.

4:00 p.m., 100 S. Main – The owner of a local business reported $850 missing.

4:13 p.m., 100 Medical – The fire department was dispatched to extinguish a compactor trench on fire.

11:43 a.m., 400 S. Main – Officers arrested the male driver of a silver Saturn for DWI who was released to hospital care.

8:44 p.m., 37000 Interstate 10 West – A 68-year-old female with a possibly broken hip was transported to North Central Baptist Hospital.

7:11 p.m., 400 W. Bandera – A caller reported $30 in gas was stolen.

1:42 p.m., 600 O’Grady – An officer recognized a female suspect with outstanding Boerne municipal warrants for traffic and failure to maintain financial responsibility. Upon her apprehension, she was able to secure funds through Western Union and was released.

5:01 p.m., 545mm Interstate 10 East – The female driver of a black Kia Sportage was arrested for DWI after being spotted driving on the shoulder of the road and failing three field sobriety tests.

8:11 a.m., 30500 Keeneland – A man received a warning for speeding, but was arrested for driving with a suspended license and taken to the Kendall County jail for booking.

8:14 a.m., 29200 Seabiscuit – A resident having trouble breathing was treated by medics then transported to a hospital.

11:42 a.m., 30000 Cantor Circle – Investigating a 911 hang-up call, an officer found medics at the address caring for an elderly man who had fallen. The man was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

4:03 p.m., 7900 Rock Forest – A resident reported that when he took his two Labrador retrievers for a routine examination the vet said his dogs were being fed rat poison. He said his neighbor’s cat also had been poisoned. The information was turned over to the animal control officer for investigation.

4:08 p.m., 7800 Timber Top – An officer tended to a woman possibly having a heart attack before medics arrived and transported her to a hospital.

4:35 p.m., 7900 Rolling Acres – A woman said someone poisoned her cat sometime Saturday and her veterinarian had confirmed the animal had died of rat poisoning. She said she had no idea who could have done it.
