Following more than 18 years of helping women throughout the Lone Star State dress for success – and every other occasion – James Glover is now donning a new brand of his own: chief operating officer and partner of Julian Gold.

Bobby Gurwitz, owner and president of the women’s clothier, recently announced the promotion, stating, “James has been an intricate member of the Julian Gold family since he joined us. His impressive talent and business savvy will continue to enhance company operations as we move onward and upward in the world of ladies fashion.”

“It is a rare opportunity to find a dynamic and extraordinary working environment such as the one here at Julian Gold,” Glover said. “Everyday presents new challenges and rewards, and I look forward to my continued contribution in helping this vibrant company build its stellar reputation in Texas’ fashion community.”

Prior to joining Julian Gold in 1989, James spent almost 12 years working in various retail management roles with Frost Bros. at both its flagship location in North Star Mall in San Antonio and Corpus Christi. His positions included assistant general manager, general manager and vice president.

“James is an invaluable asset to Julian Gold,” Gurwitz added. “His track record with our stores is hands-down incredible, and his leadership will continue to be a strong driving force for our company and clientele.”

Glover is also involved in numerous community and non-profit endeavors. He, his wife Susan, and three children—Courtney, Matthew, and Tyler—reside in San Antonio.
