Monday, April 23

2:48 p.m., 100 Spring Creek Road – A 72-year-old male in respiratory distress was transported to Methodist Hospital.

Tuesday, April 24

11:51 a.m., 540mm E. Interstate 10 – EMS was notified to check out the drivers of two vehicles that collided.  One car was towed from the scene.

3:35 p.m., 200 Deer Creek – An elderly female cancer patient with chest pain was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital.

9:30 p.m.  1000 S. Main – A caller reported two heavy-set men in grey clothing and caps with gold orthodontics who walked out of an area business with $50 after repeatedly trying to get change for large bills.  The Kerr Police Department later picked up the subjects.

Wednesday, April 25

1:17 p.m., 1000 S. Main – The driver of a tan car was stopped for transporting what appeared to be a marijuana plant.  Upon investigation, it turned out to be a peach tree.

3:00 p.m.,  700 E. Thiessen – An 87-year-old male with a pacemaker was transported by EMS to the VA Hospital in Kerrville after complaining of numbness in his right arm and fingers.

3:59 p.m.,  300 S. Esser–  A vehicle was stolen from a public parking lot.

5:03 p.m.  700 N. Main –  An elderly man’s disoriented behavior caused several concerned citizens to seek help for what they thought was a stroke.  EMS was dispatched to check on the man who was arrested for public intoxication.

9:16 p.m.  100 Old San Antonio– Two juvenile males were taken to Kerr County Juvenile Detention Center following a fight, which brought attention to their status as runaways.

Thursday, April 26

12:01 p.m.,  300 S. Main – A store owner called to report that a purchase for $385 was made with a fraudulent check.

12:09 a.m.,  543mm W. Interstate 10 – The female driver of a green Chevy suburban was arrested for DWI.

8:13 p.m.  800 N. Main – The driver of a black 2005 Triumph, stopped for having an illegible paper license plate was discovered to have outstanding Eastland County warrants for terroristic threats.  He was arrested and taken into custody.

Friday, April 27

8:29 a.m.,  3000 W. Interstate 10 –  After calling to pursue pressing charges against a 67-year-old man who wrote a hot check in the amount of $68,446.21 for a Mercedes-Benz, management reported that the vehicle had been returned to the parking lot after hours.

11:29 a.m.  200 W. Highland–  A 22-year-old female with trouble breathing was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital.

5;38 p.m. 100 Ebensberger–  A 33-year-old male with severe back pain was transported by EMS to the Medical Center.

Saturday, April 28

1:04 a.m.  Intersection of John’s Road and School Street – The 27-year-old female driver of a black Ford, seen with an open container, was arrested for DWI after failing a breath test.

8:50 a.m., 3000 W. Interstate 10 – The driver of a 2004 black Dodge Stratus was recognized by officers and arrested for outstanding Boerne municipal warrants.

Sunday, April 29

7:52 a.m.  533mm W. Interstate 10 – Officers arrested the drivers of a Ford pick-up and Galant for traffic violations following a race along the highway.  Two male passengers were arrested for possession of marijuana.

Monday, April 30

2:42 a.m.,  600 Bandera – Officers, responding to an activated alarm apprehended a man who reported to be with the cleaning crew and had accidentally set off the alarm.  The subject was discovered to have outstanding Polk County warrants for theft with a $1,000 bond.  Unable to pay his bond, the man was arrested.

Monday, April 23

9:30 a.m., 100 SJ Drive, Boerne – EMS transported an incoherent woman, 75, with a history of brain surgeries, to North Central Baptist Hospital.

10:38 a.m., N. Hwy. 87, Comfort – A $203 gas heist was perpetrated by the driver of a light blue, older-model suburban.

2:48 p.m., 100 Spring Creek Road, Boerne – Air Life transported a man, 72, with respiratory distress to Methodist Hospital.

3:08 p.m., 900 Turkey Knob Road, Boerne – EMS transported a woman, 75, who had fallen to St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital.

5:37 p.m., 100 Winchester Drive, Bergheim – A front gate was smashed.

Tuesday, April 24

10:56 a.m., 30000 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A hit-and-run incident was reported by the driver of a green Town & Country van, allegedly by th driver of a teal TransAm.

6:40 p.m., Post Oak Circle, Comfort – A caller reported possible narcotics activity at a home.

9:17 p.m., 100 W. Hwy. 46, Boerne – A two-car collision proved fatal for Michael Mullin, 24, of San Antonio, whose eastbound Honda Civic entered the westbound path of a grey Dodge truck driven by Corey Cline, 30, of Pipe Creek. Cline suffered scratches, possibly from the deployment of his airbag.

9:56 p.m., N. Hwy 87, Comfort – Two suspects from an alleged theft at a McDonald’s in Boerne and a similar “hit” in Leon Springs were appeared at the Comfort chain, where they were arrested.

Wednesday, April 25

9:40 a.m., 600 North Creek Road, Comfort – EMS transported a weak and dizzy woman, 63, to Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

1:40 p.m., 31200 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A woman reported her vehicle stolen after it was borrowed and not returned for five months.

Thursday, April 26

1:33 a.m., 543mm W. Interstate10, Boerne – A man driving the wrong direction was arrested.

2:58 a.m., Shooting Club Road, Boerne – A family disturbance resulted in the arrest of an intoxicated man, 28. A woman, 23, who had been head butted was attended for bleeding.

7:53 a.m., 100 River Ranch Road, Borne – A big, black dog that was killing goats was dispatched.

Friday, April 27

10:05 a.m., 100 Jacob Drive, Boerne – A woman reported her soon-to-be-ex-husband had issued phone threats.

9:19 p.m., Spanish Pass Road, Boerne – EMS transported a girl, 2, who had swallowed a coin and subsequently suffered persistent vomiting, to Methodist Children’s Hospital.

Saturday, April 28

0:33 a.m., 300 FM474, Boerne – Kendall County deputies and emergency personnel were dispatched to a major accident in which a driver, Shelby Lyn Estes, 17, lost control of a Pontiac Grand-Am. A passenger, Sydney Fly, 17, was ejected through the rear window and suffered numerous lacerations and major trauma to her right lower leg. She was airlifted to University Hospital in San Antonio, where she is in serious condition. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Estes and the car’s other occupant, Kaylee Hill, 17, were not injured.

The driver, who passed field sobriety testing, was nonetheless charged with driving under the influence by a minor.

6:21 a.m., 100 S. Wagon Wheel, Boerne – EMS transported a hypoglycemic woman, 67, who went into full cardiac arrest to Methodist Hospital.

9:28 a.m., 100 S. Stonegate, Boerne – EMS transported a man, 50, who had possibly overdosed on morphine to Methodist Hospital.

9:42 a.m., FM473, Comfort – Golf clubs were reported stolen.

12:27 p.m., 529mm E. Interstate 10, Comfort – After Kerrville EMS experienced automotive trouble, Comfort EMS took over the transport of a woman, 28, who was in labor at 37 weeks gestation, to University Hospital.

5:12 p.m., 300 Main St., Comfort – A woman alleged her ex-boyfriend stole her vehicle.

6:10 p.m., 100 E. View Point Drive, Boerne – After a family disturbance was reported, a son, who was possibly on drugs and/or alcohol, was detained.

6:34 p.m., 28935 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – Kendall deputies assisted Bexar County on a possible burglary in progress in which subjects were passing mufflers throuig the fence at Windwood and Victoria lane.

6:41 p.m., 100 Savannah Jon Blvd., Boerne – A depressed woman, 42, solicited a talk with a deputy.

Sunday, April 29

7:35 a.m., 100 Cravey, Waring – EMS transported a woman to Methodist Hospital.

10:46 a.m., 300 Main St., Comfort – A family disturbance was resolved.

11:37 a.m., 1100 River, Boerne – A man, 58, sitting by the road was determined to have been assaulted.

3:21 p.m., FM1376 and Guadalupe River, Sisterdale – An incoherent Hispanic man lying on the roadside was detained.

Tuesday, April 17

4 p.m., 29000 Grand Coteau – A woman having chest pains was assisted by medics, then transported to a hospital.

Thursday, April 19

11:47 a.m., 29000 Ralph Fair Road – An elementary school student who had an asthma attack was assisted by the school nurse and medics, then transported to a hospital for further treatment.

10:42 p.m., 8300 Fair Oaks Parkway – A driver stopped for not stopping at a stop sign was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, April 20

4:02 a.m., 8600 Fair Oaks Parkway – A driver stopped for speeding was also tested for intoxication but it was determined his shaky condition wasn’t due to alcohol but, rather, medication he had taken. His aunt, who lived nearby, was called to take her nephew to her home. He did get a ticket for speeding as well as advice not to get behind the wheel while taking any medication.

9:45 a.m., 7700 Battle Intense – A woman reported her lost debit card had been used at a gas station in San Antonio. She was given a case number for her bank.
