The Laurel Heights Weekday School recently celebrated 55 years as a preschool for area residents.  Director Dr. Anne Wier (right) and former teacher Ms. Olga DeLaCruz show the celebration cake to the children and parents Saturday morning during the day’s activities. The school was first developed in 1952 as part of the Laurel Heights United Methodist Church.
