The San Antonio Zoo is now opening its gates at 9 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m., as summer hours are put into effect. Guests can remain in the Zoo until 8, and Kronkosky’s Tiny Tot Nature Spot and the Discovery House close at 6 p.m. Want your own special time to visit the Zoo? Become a Zoo member and members can come in the Zoo as early as 7:30 a.m. during the summer. This special VIP gate entrance is good only for member cardholders. The gate entrance, concession stands, and gift shops open for business at 9 a.m. A family membership is $60 for the entire family and allows visits to the Zoo 365 days a year. Click on www.sazoo-aq.org or call 734-7184 for more information. There is also a coupon for a dollar off Zoo admission on the Web site.
