Monday, May 28

1:41 p.m., 300 Ebner – Police were called when a resident’s curious cat jumped the fence and was mauled by the neighbor’s pit bull.

10:23 p.m., 100 Park Place – A woman, 79, who reported nausea and pain, was transported by EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital.

10:42 p.m., 1200 S. Main – A woman, 44, who had difficulty breathing was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Tuesday, May 29

9:14 a.m., 1300 S. Main – Witnesses of a hit and run at the YMCA parking lot led police to the home of a woman who said she didn’t notice breaking the tail light and denting the back door of a parked red Element.

6:29 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane – Red, black and yellow spray paint on buildings, benches and sidewalks were reported.

5:22 p.m., 300 S. Plant – Kids driving a car were reported to police.  The children, ages 9 and 10, who ran into an apartment before officers arrived, stated that they were only playing, not driving.

6:06 p.m., 100 E. Bandera – Five skateboarders were given criminal trespassing warrants after police received a tip from a caller.

6:12 p.m., 400 W. Bandera – A silver four-door Ford 4x4 toting a trailer left without paying for $26 in fuel.

Wednesday, May 30

4:03 p.m., 400 E. Rosewood – A potential trash-dumper was apprehended by a property owner defending his dumpster.  Police tracked down the suspect, who was advised to keep his trash to himself.

Thursday, May 31

12 a.m., 40 Ranger Creek – A traffic stop revealed an inebriated driver, who was arrested for DWI, and a passenger in possession of marijuana.

12:55 p.m., 1200 S. Main – All eight fire extinguishers were reported stolen from the Key to the Hills Motel.

2:06 p.m., 400 Johns Road – A traffic stop for equipment violation turned out to be a DWI offense for a man who was promptly arrested.

2:50 p.m., 200 English Oaks – A woman, 63, whose family had been trying to contact her by phone for two days was found dead in her home.

3:19 p.m., 100 Cibolo Basin – A medical alarm alerted emergency officials to the residence of a woman who had fallen and couldn’t get up.

Friday, June 1

9 a.m., 100 Old San Antonio – A 14-year-old male, arrested for assaulting a Meadowlands staffer, was transported to the Kerr County Juvenile Detention Center.

9:01 a.m., 36000 W. Interstate 10 – Burglars used construction equipment to ram the door of a portable building and steal a jackhammer valued at $2,200 along with the keys to other construction machinery.

6 p.m., 542 mm W. Interstate 10 – Two drinking buddies traveling along the interstate were spotted with beer by officers who arrested the driver, 23, for DWI and an open container along with his passenger, 24, for public intoxication.

8:52 p.m., 1100 S. Main – Officers picked up the trail of a woman with an outstanding traffic warrant for $238.  When she promised to pay up, officers followed her to Municipal Court to be sure she kept her word.

11:35 p.m., 100 City Lake – An inquiry about a suspicious vehicle led officers to a man, 26, who was having a late picnic with his girlfriend.

11:36 p.m., 100 Bentwood – A ring and camera were reported stolen from a resident’s home.

Saturday, June 2

12:43 a.m., 400 Johns Road – Warnings were issued to two under-age teens out past curfew.

7:58 a.m., 543mm E. Interstate 10 East – A woman lost control of her car and rolled it onto private property. She escaped serious injury.

6:27 p.m., 100 Hampton Way – A Rottweiler was taken to animal control facilities after it bit a 14-year-old.

7:43 p.m., 300 Schweppe – Officers apprehended a group of kids racing in office chairs down a hill and saw that they rolled the chairs back home.

10:20 p.m., 100 Crosspoint – After police responded to calls of a male screaming at a female, a 14-year-old was arrested and taken into custody for assault and family violence.

Sunday, June 3

9:37 a.m., 100 Industrial – A business owner reported graffiti near the shop’s front door.

4:55 p.m., 100 Stonegate – A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with its lights on.  When officers arrived they found a good Samaritan removing wood from the parking lot for morning church.

7:21 p.m., 100 Crosspoint – A man was arrested by officers for violating a protective order.

8:05 p.m., 100 Whisper Way – A woman, 31, was taken to University Hospital with difficulty breathing after abdominal surgery.

9:23 p.m., 400 East Blanco – Officers were called to a rescue a man handcuffed to the steering wheel by a girlfriend who lost the keys.

Monday, May 28

0:46 a.m., 100 Cascade Caverns, Boerne – A man in a small station wagon crashed into a fence, resumed driving, ran in to some bushes, nearly hit a squad car, lost a tire and turned onto Scheele Road before being taken into custody.

8:30 a.m., Seven Sisters and Mountain View Drive, Sisterdale – A subject in a dark blue truck with tinted windows took a bicycle while the owner was out walking.

12:26 p.m., 700 Sparkling Springs Drive, Boerne – EMS attended to a hypertensive, dizzy woman, 76.

5:45 p.m., Upper Cibolo Creek Road, Boerne – A woman, 53, who’d suffered a bite from a stray cat took her injury to Boerne Urgent Care.

6:59 p.m., 100 FM474, Boerne – Kids in the back of a truck threw a water bottle that struck the complainant’s windshield. He had children in the vehicle.

7:18 p.m., 200 Majestic Oaks Drive, Waring – An epileptic man, 37, was found unresponsive at home and was declared deceased by Justice of the Peace Precinct 4.

9:27 p.m., 100 Scenic Bluffs Drive, Boerne – A woman who suspected someone attempted to open her door while she was home alone asked for police help.

1:17 a.m., 1000 S. Highway 87, Comfort – EMS transported a man, 21, with symptoms and a history of seizures to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

6:36 p.m., 300 Main St., Comfort – EMS transported a woman, 25, suffering possible anxiety attacks to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

7:22 p.m., Herff/River Road, Boerne – EMS attended to a driver who’d suffered head lacerations after running into a deer.

8:14 p.m., 100 FM289, Comfort – Officers arrested a intoxicated man after a verbal disturbance.

6:14 a.m., 700 FM1376, Boerne – A white Toyota crashed through a fence about four miles south of Sisterdale.

7:33 a.m., 500 N. Highway 87, Comfort – EMS attended to a motorist who’d suffered lacerations after hitting a deer.

10:50 a.m., 200 N. Hill Top Drive, Boerne – The 39-year-old pilot of a private single-engine plane was killed when his aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff.

1:08 p.m., 100 Stonegate, Boerne – A resident suspected a burglary attempt after finding screen damage on a rear window.

8:44 p.m., 200 Los Indios Ranch, Boerne – A woman came home to find two females in a white vehicle on her property. Although they left at her request, she suspected they were “in trouble” by the way they acted.

10:55 p.m., 400 Los Indios Ranch Drive, Boerne – A woman claimed her boyfriend, 24, pushed and detained her after he’d had a few drinks. Another man and woman were on the premises, and authorities investigated all parties.

11:05 p.m., 100 Mountain View, Kendalia – After a neighbor smelled an odor, authorities were called to recover the body of a 33-year-old man from a home. Criminal investigation was conducted.

6:44 a.m., Cazneau Lane, Boerne – Phone harassment was reported.

8:16 a.m., 100 Highway 46, Boerne – A caller alleged that a “wanted” drug dealer from Houston lives in the neighborhood.

11:16 a.m., S. FM3351, Bergheim – A power line was reportedly damaged by a large delivery truck.

12:06 p.m., 200 E. San Antonio, Boerne – EMS transported an elderly man to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital after a fall.

3:00 p.m., 30300 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – The theft of services was reported.

3:38 p.m., 100 E. View Point Drive, Boerne – Phone harassment was reported.

5:45 p.m., 200 Nueces Court, Kendalia – A woman who was assaulted in Bexar County moved to live with her parents and wanted the local authorities to be aware.

6:28 p.m., 30800 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 38, with dehydration and kidney trouble.

10:51 p.m., 100 River Trail, Boerne – A woman, 40, reported that another woman, 33, stole her dark green ’98 Mazda.

3:01 a.m., 100 White Water Road, Bergheim – Four men were detained after a disturbance.

6:47 a.m., 400 Front St., Comfort – A burglary was discovered after an alarm the night before had been deemed “false.”

12:03 p.m., 100 West St., Comfort – A man, 20, reported threats by his ex-girlfriend.

4:39 p.m., 500 Sixth St., Comfort – A storage unit was reported burglarized.

4:45 p.m., 100 Flat Rock Creek Road, Comfort – EMS attended to a man, 73, who’d fallen, possibly breaking his hip.

6:31 p.m., 531mm W. Interstate 10, Comfort – After a trucker reported a naked man outside his vehicle, the nude dude was taken into custody.

7:14 p.m., 300 Sharon Drive, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 57, who’d passed out after a day of golf.

7:50 p.m., 100 N. Highway 87, Comfort – A 16-year-old male threatened to kill someone at Comfort High School graduation, so authorities took him into custody.

Saturday, June 2

0:54 a.m., 900 FM474, Boerne – A woman declined emergency medical services after driving off the road and through a fence.

2:21 a.m., Rolling Acres Road, Boerne – A woman, 22, reported her ex-boyfriend caused a disturbance with her new boyfriend, 33.

5:19 a.m., 100 N. Walnut Way, Boerne – After a depressed 18-year-old was determined to be a danger to herself, she was taken to University Hospital.

5:34 a.m., 100 View Lane, Boerne – EMS attended to a man bleeding from an infection.

9:43 a.m., 100 Meadow Lane, Comfort – EMS attended to an infant with a blood nose.

12:51 p.m., 100 MountainView Trail, Kendalia – A man reported his ex-wife threatened him and his fiancé.

2:53 p.m., 100 Prado Crossing, Boerne – A Spring Creek Estates sign was reported damaged.

3:05 p.m., 100 Paradise Path, Boerne – A man reported his daughter had been assaulted by her husband.

4:28 p.m., 100 Hillview Loop, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 87, who was ill and in pain.

5:34 p.m., Ranger Creek Road and Cibolo Creek, Boerne – The complainant reported a resident threatened to sic his pit bull on him and shoot him.

5:56 p.m., 100 Tanawa Road, Comfort – EMS transported a 19-year-old woman to Hill Country Memorial Hospital after she was regurgitating blood.

8:50 p.m., 545mm W. Interstate 10, Boerne – The driver of a silver F150 was arrested after several calls reported him swerving with his lights off.

11:49 p.m., 100 Wagon Wheel Drive, Boerne – Phone threats were reported.

Sunday, June 3

2:29 p.m., 100 Kendall Woods Drive, Bergheim – EMS transported a man, 44, with back pain to Methodist Hospital.

10:29 p.m., 200 Bluebonnet Drive, Boerne – A man reported his ex-girlfriend, who had been harassing him, threw an object at his vehicle while driving.

11:30 p.m., 500 Pleasant Valley Drive, Boerne – An intoxicated son, 18, was reported for refusing to leave.

Tuesday, May 8

4:10 p.m., 8500 Percheron – A woman reported her step-son, 23, had pulled a knife on her during an argument over a cell-phone battery and, when she called 911, ripped the phone out of the wall and threw it on the ground, breaking it, before leaving. She made a statement to police and shortly thereafter noted that her car, a gold Ford 500, was gone. The woman was given information for adult victims of family violence and told to call for help if he returned. Several hours later, officers were advised that the vehicle was back at the residence but the subject was in Boerne.

Wednesday, May 9

8:45 p.m., 8400 High Cliff Drive – AMR transported a man, 77, who had fallen and was feeling very weak, to North Central Baptist Hospital.

Friday, May 11

5:57 p.m., 7200 Keeneland – After a report of a collar-wearing deer attacking a girl, an officer observed the deer on the right of way between Saratoga and Keeneland and dispatched the it with two shots from a .22 rifle.

Sunday, May 13

2:02 a.m., 29200 Oakview Ridge St. – Residents reported several incidences of individuals ringing the doorbell and running off.

3:39 a.m., 29200 Oakview Ridge St. – After more reports of mysterious ringing doorbells, an officer observed two males, ages 14 and 15, who admitted to the “ding-dong ditching.” Both were remanded to the father of the 14-year-old Fair Oaks youth and, after the father signed a juvenile release form, advised that they had upset and frightened an elderly man and his wife. They were told not to return to the area.

1:19 p.m., 29500 Red Bud Hill – AMR transported a woman, 88, to Methodist Hospital after a fall caused right-hip pain.

3:52 p.m., 8500 Triple Crown – AMR transported a 70-year-old cancer patient to North Central Baptist Hospital

Thursday, May 17

10:41 a.m., 30800 Robin Dale Drive – A resident reported two vehicles had driven through her yard and asked for police to keep an eye out.

3:46 p.m., 8600 Connamara Drive – The boyfriend of a 17-year-old girl was arrested after she reported he had pushed her down in an argument, a report that was corroborated by red marks and scratches.

Friday, May 18

7700 Rocking Horse Lane – A man complained that his fence had been damaged to the tune of about $300.

Saturday, May 19

9:28 p.m., 31000 Meadow Creek Trail – A 28-year-old man stopped for speeding along at 68 mph in a 55 mph zone was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and for three active Boerne warrants – two for expired registration and one for failing to maintain financial responsibility. He also got a speeding ticket.

Tuesday, May 22

1:08 a.m., 7800 Fair Oaks Parkway – Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress after condominium residents reported seeing a male subject leaving from the rear exit. Officers searched the scene thoroughly but did not find the subject. One of the reporting complainants said she only saw a turquoise sleeve to a short-sleeved shirt before the subject ran through their guest bedroom and onto a balcony. Officers found indentations in the grass below that could possibly be heel marks made by someone who jumped. There were no other descriptors. The case was referred to investigations.

Wednesday, May 23

9:32 p.m., 546mm Interstate 10 – Officers assisted with a major accident that shut down traffic on the east frontage road.

Friday, May 25

7:19 p.m., 8500 Dietz Elkhorn Road – After reports of individuals walking down the street opening mailboxes, an officer stopped a group of five males ages 16 to 17 and advised them that if they were conducting such activity that it would be best to stop or face potential charges for criminal mischief.

Saturday, May 26

7:15 a.m., 7200 Saddle Side – After an officer found a silver 2003 Volkswagen in the creek bed on the west side of the 30900 block of FM3351, he contacted the registered owner, who advised that it was her son’s car. The son, 17, said he had left the road around 1 a.m. after reaching into the back of the seat for a CD, adding that a friend gave him a ride home and no one was injured. The officer asked why he didn’t report the incident to police, to which his mother added “or me.” He said he didn’t think he had to notify the police and that he had text-messaged his mother. He was advised all accidents need to be reported to the police.

4:40 p.m., 7200 Dietz Elkhorn – Three juveniles were pulled over for operating a golf cart without a license. The driver said his mother let him drive the cart. His step-father, told that his step-son had received a written warning for operating a vehicle without a license, said he would no longer let the youth operate the cart. He added that an attorney had advised him it was not illegal for juveniles to operate golf carts on the roadway. The officer responded that if he wanted clarification he should contact the city manager or chief of police.

11:35 p.m., 7900 Pimlico Lane – On routine patrol, an officer saw a blue Olds Cutlass with fogged-up windows in the Homeowners Association Park. Approaching the vehicle he noticed two people inside, one a female wearing a bra but no shirt. The officer tapped on the glass and asked the parties to step out of the vehicle. A male wearing shorts, but no shirt or shoes, was identified as a 16-year-old Boerne resident. The female, holding a shirt over her bra, had no ID but was determined to be a 17-year-old Fair Oaks Ranch resident. The male averred they were “just sitting here talking.” The female admitted they were kissing. Both were advised that they could be arrested if they were caught having sexual intercourse. “I told (the male subject) that he was not allowed to be out here doing whatever he was doing and very politely asked them to leave and not come back,” an officer noted.
