Grateful for support The Boerne Public Library Foundation would like to thank you and the citizens of Boerne for your support of the library bond proposition. The bond was overwhelmingly passed by the citizens of Boerne on May 12 by a margin of 66 percent. Expansion is the goal of the Boerne Public Library Foundation and support like yours helps make this a reality. In addition to the bond, the Foundation will now set out to raise $2 million to reach the $7 million goal to build the new library. The city of Boerne and its growing community will greatly appreciate and benefit from the larger facility that is planned. Thank you again, and we appreciate your continued support of the Boerne Public Library. Mike Morton, president, Boerne Public Library Foundation Generous community Besides the donkey from the Rotary Club, the WARM group (Women of River Mountain on the Guadelupe) gave a children’s shower for the Heartland Children’s Home orphans recently. During the Christmas holidays, they also had an auction and presented the home with a check of almost $3,000. It is a very caring community that we have. Shyrl Kauffman Kendall County
