Boerne 

Monday, June 4

11:37 a.m., 100 Surrey – Officers responded to a report of a car running in the garage with the door slightly open and the home filled with fumes.  The Justice of the Peace arrived on the scene to pronounce the death of a young man, 18, at 12:30 p.m.

11:08 p.m., 1200 South Main – A DWI arrest followed a traffic stop for a vehicle violation.

Tuesday, June 5

4:14 a.m., 1100 Grand Boulevard – A woman, 87, complaining of nausea and chest pain, was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital.

2:35 p.m., 100 West San Antonio – An expired motor vehicle identification got the driver of a maroon Jeep pulled over and arrested for traveling too quickly around schoolchildren – the 33-year-old had an outstanding warrant for going 40 mph in a school zone with a limit of 20 mph.  During the traffic stop, officers saw that all four children were unrestrained by seatbelts, and the mom was given a citation for each.

9:52 p.m., 200 South Esser – The driver of a Ford 4 Runner was pulled over for defective plate lights and found to be under the influence, arrested and taken into custody.

Wednesday, June 6

12:59 a.m., 200 North School – A woman, 87, was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital with abdominal stress.

4:55 a.m., 100 Deer Hollow – A caller reported that it looked as though vandals had taken a baseball bat to a mailbox.

12:45 p.m., 100 West Bandera – A juvenile female forgery suspect was picked up at Security Service Federal Credit Union and taken to the Kerr County Juvenile Detention Center.

2:45 p.m., 400 River Road – Officers tracked down two suspects who left a restaurant without paying the remaining $8 of their meal ticket.  When police caught up with the driver of the 2003 gray Acura, the driver readily agreed to pay the balance in full.  In the meantime, officers issued a citation for failure to display a driver’s license, expired motor vehicle registration and no proof of insurance.

5:48 p.m., 700 River – After a heated altercation, a woman hurled two large rocks at the windshield of an 18-year-old male’s vehicle.

6:05 p.m., 100 FM 474 – Two youths in a black Toyota Avalon were issued citations for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Thursday, June 7

1:27 a.m., 100 Mesquite – A three-year-old with a high temperature was transported to Methodist Children’s Hospital.

1:39 a.m., 400 East Blanco – The sister of a 19-year-old woman notified police that she was missing, last seen getting into a silver Mazda at Metro Stop.

3:04 a.m., 100 Dawnridge – An 18-year-old female, paranoid and acting as though someone was chasing her, was treated by EMS for possible drugs.

6:12 p.m., 400 West Bandera – Officers assisted EMS administer CPR to a man, 55, who had to be resuscitated after having seizures.  He was transported to Methodist Specialty Hospital.

Friday, June 8

3:20 a.m., 400 West Bandera – A speeding ticket turned into a DWI arrest for a 26-year-old man driving a blue Ford pick-up.

8:46 a.m., 600 West Bandera – A man, 63, who fell and hit his head was assisted by EMS.

1:35 p.m., 100 Old San Antonio – A simple traffic stop was one man’s ticket to jail because of outstanding Boerne Municipal traffic warrants with a $980 bond.

10:57 a.m., 100 Katie Court – Some lost sheep in the roadway were assisted to the animal control facility.

8:30 p.m., East State Highway 46 – A 911 hang-up call traced back to the fair grounds was reportedly made accidentally by a child.

11:25 p.m., 100 City Lake – A caller reported that her beach bag containing towels and a ring was stolen at the city lake on May 24.

1:49 p.m., 700 River – A man, 49, was arrested for violation of protective order.

Saturday, June 9

12:20 a.m., 200 Lohmann – A man reported being assaulted by his wife who tried to run him over with a car.

11:40 a.m., 1000 North Main – A woman, 25, asked to press charges against a bar’s security guard after being arrested for bodily injury and personal injury.

12:02 p.m., 400 Rosewood – A 2002 gray minivan was reported stolen while the owner was making a service call at Whispering Villas Apartments.

12:29 p.m., 700 River – A woman, 42, was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital with severe chest pain and numbness in her right arm.

2:26 p.m., 400 Graham – A resident called police to check out a plant growing in the back yard that appeared to be marijuana.  It was a weed, not “weed.”

9:31 p.m., Main and School – A traffic stop in the parking lot of the Boerne Star turned into an arrest for DWI after officers administered a breathalyzer test.

Monday, June 4

10:28 a.m., 800 Front St., Comfort – A patient with tension pneumothorax was transported to Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

10:30 a.m., 200 Sansom Road, Kendalia – EMS attended to a person with chest pain.

1:35 p.m., 300 Diamondridge, Boerne – An iPod was reported stolen.

3:23 p.m., 100 Walnut Grove, Boerne – A blowout sent a vehicle through a fence. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, June 5

0:37 a.m., 529mm E. Interstate 10, Comfort – An unsub threw a rock at a truck, hitting the driver and causing him to bleed, but he refused EMS ministrations.

12:23 p.m., Scenic Loop Road, Boerne – A dishwasher was reported stolen.

Wednesday, June 6

6:31 a.m., 300 Wild Turkey Blvd., Boerne – A man was reportedly harassing a nurse.

11:20 a.m., 100 Hunter’s View, Sisterdale – A construction crew left a site with the staple gun and nail gun.

1:06 p.m., 100 Timber View Drive, Boerne – Phone harassment was reported.

1:34 p.m., 100 E. View Point Drive, Boerne – Credit card theft was reported.

3:21 p.m., Upper Cibolo Creek Raod, Boerne – A tan Ford Escape was reported stolen after its keys were snatched from lakeside shores, but it was later located at the park’s entrance.

6:29 p.m., 539mm E. Interstate 10, Boerne – A white SUV was upon a guardrail, apparently put there by a 16-year-old driver.

8:01 p.m., 100 Blue Heron Trial, Boerne – ID theft was reported after the complainant’s son was notified by a bank that someone had already opened an account with his Social Security number.

Thursday, June 7

7:27 a.m., 100 Steel Valley Drive, Boerne – A hospice death was reported.

9:35 a.m., 200 E. San Antonio, Boerne – A man was arrested on a Kerr County warrant.

1:32 p.m., 100 Thunder Creek, Boerne – AirLife transported a man, 58, who’d fallen off a roof, to the hospital.

9:15 p.m., 1000 S. FM3351, Kendalia – A man reported his schizophrenic girlfriend created a verbal disturbance.

9:54 p.m., 100 Red Bird Lane, Boerne – EMS attended a woman, 19, with stomach pain.

Friday, June 8

0:49 a.m., 100 N. Wagon Wheel, Boerne – An intoxicated man who was walking around bleeding was taken into custody.

12:47 p.m., 200 S. FM3351, Bergheim – A woman, 69, who was stung by a wasp became dizzy and suffered itchy hands and feet, so EMS transported her to Brooke Army Medical Center.

4:19 p.m., 100 East Winding Loop, Boerne – A stolen credit card was used at Sears and WalMart.

7:40 p.m., 100 Blue Bonnet, Boerne – A 10-month-old with high fever was transported to Methodist Children’s Hospital.

8:09 p.m., Spanish Pass Road, Boerne – Alcohol-bearing boys broke into a home but were reported by the housesitter. The males claimed the owner’s son had given them permission, but the owner said otherwise.

10:28 p.m., 100 Starwood, Boerne – A gasping 2-year-old with seizures was transported to Methodist Children’s Hospital.

11:36 p.m., Highway 46 East and Trophy, Boerne – A Crimestoppers call reported underage drinking, but officers were unable to locate it.

Saturday, June 9

6:28 a.m., 100 Paradise Path, Boerne – A verbal disturbance was reported after a husband grew agitated and threw things.

9:33 a.m., 600 Fifth St., Comfort – After a large woman fell, a crew was called in to help lift her.

11:10 a.m., 200 Hillview, Comfort – A woman wanted her 22-year-old husband out of the house after behavior that included pulling down his pants and barking at her.

3:33 p.m., 29800 E. Interstate 10, Boerne – Three teen boys were reportedly stealing sheep.

4:35 p.m., FM473, Comfort – A home-alone woman heard noises in the attic

4:39 p.m., 600 fifth St., Comfort – A woman, 54, hurt her ankle in a fall and was taken to Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

8:51 p.m., E. Highway 46, Boerne – An assault by a known party, who was intoxicated, was reported.

Sunday, June 10

0:56 a.m., E. Highway 46, Boerne – After a fight was reported in progress, EMS attended to cuts and possible loosened teeth, and one man was taken to jail.

2:09 a.m., 100 W. Highway 46, Boerne – A Jeep was found on its side in a ditch. The contacted owner reported his 16-year-old son had been driving the vehicle, and he was on a sleepover.

7:51 a.m., 600 Faltin St., Comfort – A woman, 80, with chest pain was transported to Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

8:40 a.m., 29800 E. Interstate 10, Boerne – Again, she reported, sheep were stolen by a couple of kids yesterday.

6:17 p.m., 900 FM1376, Sisterdale – A man, 77, fell in his yard but refused EMS attention.

7:34 p.m., 100 Mallard Drive, Boerne – An unattended brush pile was reported after it started to smolder.

8:46 p.m., 10000 Johns Road, Boerne – A controlled burn ignited a brush pile beside a neighbor’s shed.

9:29 p.m., 100 Blue Heron Trail, Boerne – Kids were reported shooting things with a BB gun.

Monday, June 11

0:16 a.m., 100 Spring Valley Drive, Boerne – An intoxicated female, 25, reportedly cut herself with a razor then left on foot.

Sunday, May 27

2:08 a.m., 29300 Duberry Ridge – After officers were dispatched for a disturbance with a possibly intoxicated woman claiming to be dying, the woman’s husband admitted the officers to the home but claimed there was no need for them to be there. However, the officers heard the woman calling for help in a back room and found her behaving in an intoxicated manner and stating that she felt she had been poisoned and that she felt she was going to kill herself. AMR transported her, over the husband’s objections, to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital.

11:12 p.m., 30200 Saratoga Lane – Responding to a report of a wedding-reception disturbance in the River Rock Café parking lot, where an intoxicated man, 22, punched out his own truck’s driver-side window before driving toward San Antonio. Officers located the man and his truck at the Fair Oaks Market parking lot and summoned the man’s father to pick him up.

Monday, May 28

0:09 a.m., 8600 Willow Wind Drive – AMR transported a brain-cancer patient, 20, to Methodist Hospital.

1:28 p.m., 7700 Rocking Horse Lane – AMR transported a disoriented woman, 93, to Methodist Hospital

10:15 p.m., 7700 Hansel Drive and Battle Intense – After a driver who appeared to be intoxicated pulled into a driveway at Fairway Bluff, the man, 34, said he was a landscaper working for the homeowner and had forgotten a tool he needed for the next day’s job. After determining the man had been drinking, officers asked his employer not to let him drive anymore than evening. She said she would drive him and his wife to their home in Boerne.

Tuesday, May 29

1:33 a.m., 7700 Battle Intense – Three juvenile females were issued minor-in-possession-of-alcohol citations.

6:07 p.m., 31300 Meadow Creek Trail – Suffering from a kidney infection affecting his balance, an 87-year-old man fell and was transported to Methodist Hospital.

Wednesday, May 30

11 a.m., 31400 Wild Oak Hill – A terminally ill man, 78, was declared dead by his hospice nurse.
