The defending Class 4A Division I state champion Alamo Heights High School Mules head the list of teams in this year’s Toyota Tundra Texas Football Classic at the Alamodome. Alamo Heights will play Clark in the opener of the five-game event at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6.

The other San Antonio team in the Classic is Warren, which will play La Joya at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Rounding out the games are Pflugerville Connally vs. Fredericksburg at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7; Leander against A&M Consolidated at noon and Laredo United against Corpus Christi Calallen at 3:45 p.m., both on Sept. 8.

The games, which normally are played during Week 0, will be played this year in Week 1 because the Alamodome was booked the last week of August.
