Monday, June 18

8:01 p.m., 400 W. Bandera – A woman, 33, was detained at the HEB parking lot for shoplifting. She had three small children with her. A controlled substance and a prohibited weapon was found in her vehicle.

Tuesday, June 19

12:28 a.m., 400 E. Blanco – Officers initiated a traffic stop for the driver of a Kia Sportage and issued a citation for a minor in possession of tobacco and drug paraphernalia.

2:14 p.m., 100 W. Bandera – A man, 27, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital after having a panic attack when officers showed up to issue Bexar County warrants, which were later issued by deputies at the hospital.

2:44 p.m., 600 W. Bandera – A caller reported that fraudulent personal checks had been printed using his personal information and used to make purchases at several businesses in San Antonio and at the Home Depot in Boerne. The case is under investigation by the San Antonio Police Department.

7:55 p.m., 100 W. Bandera – During a traffic stop, the 26-year-old driver of a white Ford truck was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Wednesday, June 20

9:10 a.m., 300 S. Brackenridge – A woman, 77, was transported to Methodist Hospital after being administered CPR by emergency technicians.

3:33 p.m., Plant and Adler – A man, 37, was arrested for public intoxication.

Thursday, June 21

12:26 a.m., 1500 S. Main – Burglars broke the front window and took off with two LCD flat-screen televisions from the Sears store.

1:49 a.m., 9000 Fair Oaks Parkway – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Department was following the 47-year-old driver of a red Dodge pick-up when he entered the Boerne area and was promptly arrested by local police officers for driving while intoxicated.

3:13 a.m., 1000 N. Main – A man reported being assaulted while at the Paradise Bar.

12:25 p.m., 300 E. San Antonio – Officers carried out a warrant service, arresting a man and taking him to jail. His pellet gun was confiscated and placed in the evidence room at the Boerne Police Department after his wife expressed concern that he might use it to harm others.

3:47 p.m., 200 Hickman – A man, 71, was transported to Methodist Hospital after reporting that he was having difficulty walking due to pain in his ankles.

5:23 p.m., 200 Lohmann – Officers assisted with the evacuation of nearby homes when a large propane tank began leaking. The fire department was called to the area, which was blocked off and secured until the leak was repaired and it was safe for residents to return to their homes.

Friday, June 22

9:04 a.m., 400 West Bandera – A resident found two passports – one Mexican and the other American – and turned them into the police department.

12:02 p.m., 700 River – A man, 22, was arrested on Maverick County warrants for possession of a controlled substances in a drug-free zone.

1:54 p.m., 1100 Grand – A woman, 82, was transported to TexSan Antonio with shortness of breath and general weakness.

Saturday, June 23

3:14 p.m., 400 E. Bandera – After refusing to leave the area, a woman was arrested by officers for public intoxication.

1:31 p.m., 200 Hickman – A 62-year-old man recovering from surgery was transported to TexSan Hospital after reporting leg pain.

1:55 p.m., 545mm Interstate 10 West – Officers followed the driver of a red pick-up who was swerving on the roadway and arrested the 53-year-old man for driving while intoxicated.

3:19 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A traffic stop turned into an arrest for an outstanding warrant for speeding in a school zone for a 29-year-old woman.

5:09 p.m., 1300 S. Main – Suspicious use of a credit card at Wal-Mart was reported by a caller.

9:20 p.m., 100 English Oaks – A man, 32, was arrested for a Boerne municipal warrant for running a stop sign and failing to maintain financial responsibility.

Sunday, June 24

12:05 a.m., 400 W. Bandera – A caller reported the theft and unauthorized use of a credit card.

4:45 p.m., 100 Richter – Officers initiated a traffic stop for defective license plate lights and arrested a woman for driving while intoxicated.

11:47 p.m., Johns Road and School Street – After laying low in the cemetery with his lights out, the suspicious driver of a green Mustang who failed to stop for officers was arrested for evading arrest and detention with a vehicle.

Monday, June 18

8:58 a.m., 100 Scenic Loop, Boerne – A trailer was reported stolen.

8:43 a.m., 400 E. Highway 46, Boerne – EMS transported a diabetic man, 71, with heart problems to Methodist Hospital.

9:45 a.m., 100 Shooting Club Road, Boerne – A business reported a break-in.

2:58 p.m., 200 High St., Comfort – A computer was reported stolen.

Tuesday, June 19

5:32 a.m., 200 Wollschlaeger Drive, Boerne – A 70-year-old man fell but asked that EMS not be called.

9:18 a.m., 100 Emerald Hills, Boerne – An intruder was reported.

12:10 p.m., 200 FM474, Boerne – A minor motor-vehicle accident was reported.

12:36 p.m., 200 Wollschlaeger Drive, Boerne – EMS transported a man, 70, to St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital with a compound fracture of the tibia.

12:46 p.m., 500 W. Highway 436, Boerne – A gate was reported vandalized.

6:18 p.m., River Bend Road, Comfort – The complainant reported that, 15 or 30 minutes previously, a tan truck damaged her father’s gate and did donuts in the field.

6:19 p.m., Highway 87 and Highway 27, Comfort – a tan truck struck a pecan tree.

Wednesday, June 20

11:41 a.m., 300 FM474, Boerne – A damaged fence reportedly was responsible for three missing llamas.

3:37 p.m., 829 FM289, Boerne – A Ford pickup struck a telephone pole.

10:30 p.m., 100 N. Wagon Wheel Drive, Boerne – A family disturbance was reported in which a woman said her husband and son wouldn’t let her leave.

11:49 p.m., 300 E. San Antonio, Boerne – A woman, 58, reported an intoxicated man, 56, was violent with her, locked her out of the apartment, barricaded himself inside and said, before destroying his cell phone, he would only come out in a body bag. The situation was resolved.

Thursday, June 21

2:35 a.m., 700 River, Boerne – Two males reportedly attempted to break into an apartment.

8:43 p.m., 100 S. Wagon Wheel, Boerne – A man reported a neighboring female assaulted his wife, causing a possible broken nose and facial injury.

10:38 p.m., N. Highway 87, Comfort – A stolen vehicle was located.

Friday, June 22

12:03 p.m., 500 W. Highway 46, Boerne – A truck rollover by Tapatio Springs entrance caused no serious injuries.

12:34 p.m., 100 Whitworth Road, Boerne – A resident reported a man urinated in the road the previous night.

1:16 p.m., 100 Ranger Creek, Boerne – A vehicle struck a guardrail.

2:53 p.m., 600 Faltin St., Comfort – After an elderly woman fainted, she was transported by EMS to Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

6:11 p.m., 100 N. Walnut Way, Boerne – A man said his girlfriend’s ex-husband was harassing him with threatening phone calls.

11:45 p.m., 200 Meadow Lane, Comfort – A girl reported her intoxicated father was trying to get into the house to assault her mother and brother. She subsequently said he was now in the house, upstairs trying to get into the bedroom where she and her mother were. The man was detained.

Saturday, June 23

1:55 a.m., 545mm W. Interstate 10, Boerne – After other motorists reported a possibly intoxicated driver, the driver of a red pickup was arrested.

4:06 a.m., 700 FM289, Boerne – A Jeep Wrangler left the road, but no injuries were reported.

9:43 a.m., 3000 FM473, Kendalia – A brush fire on Sattler Road brought the attention of volunteer firefighters.

10:10 a.m., 100 N. Walnut Way, Boerne – A woman reported a female was harassing her daughter via cell phone.

12:02 p.m., E. Highway 46, Boerne – A resident reported that the music at the fairgrounds was so loud it was shaking his house.

2:58 p.m., 300 West St., Comfort – A man, who told his ex-girlfriend he was going to kill himself, put a rope around his neck and claimed he would shoot any deputies who came to the scene, but the situation was resolved bloodlessly.

3:49 p.m., 100 Woodland Ranch Road, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 60, who fell off a roof.

4:55 p.m., 537mm W. Interstate 10, Boerne – EMS transported a hyperventilating woman, 21, to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

6;06 p.m., 1000 S. Highway 87, Comfort – A minor accident occurred between a white Cadillac and a black Dodge Ram.

6:30 p.m., E. Highway 46, Boerne – Criminal mischief was reportedly perpetrated on a vehicle in the fairgrounds parking lot.

8:26 p.m., 600 Seven Sisters Drive, Sisterdale – EMS attended to a man, 79, with stomach pains.

9:45 p.m., 100 Clear Sky, Boerne – A domestic disturbance was reported; it involved no violence or alcohol, strictly an argument.

Sunday, June 24

4:09 a.m., 300 Kreutzberg, Boerne – EMS attended to a diabetic woman, 40, with breathing difficulty.

7:09 a.m., 100 Edge Falls, Kendalia – A fence was cut.

10:28 a.m., 400 FM1621, Waring – EMS attended to a man, 42, who suffered burns when gasoline, with which he was starting a fire, exploded.

10:32 p.m., 33100 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – An accident occurred between a blue Ford F150 and a white Chevy pickup.

4:35 a.m., 300 Upper Cibolo Creek Road, Boerne – A truck went straight when it should have curved, requiring the services of a wrecker.

Friday, June 15

8:55 a.m., 30000 Ralph Fair - Two Irish wolfhounds, too big for the dog catcher’s kennels, were placed in the bed of the control truck. The owner said an electrician, who visited her house, did not wait for the gate to shut properly before he left.

11:04 a.m., 7200 Fair Oaks Parkway - An elderly man, by doctor’s request, needed AMR transport to Methodist Hospital.

Saturday, June 16

1:10 a.m., 8000 Fair Oaks Parkway - An officer located drug paraphernalia in a vehicle occupied by three males.

2:02 p.m., 8600 Terret Circle - A resident called police about a skunk that was walking back and forth in her garage “in a funny way.” The responding officer told her the skunk wasn’t rabid as she feared, just old. The resident said, in that case, she wanted it to walk out on its own.

6:54 p.m., 8,600 Terret Circle - Residents told police the skunk was now walking around in circles, apparently blind. The officer decided to dispatch it because it didn’t appear to be able to survive in the wild.

Tuesday, June 19

1:17 p.m., 7500 Sweetwind Circle - A resident reported a stolen debit card used last at a gas station at IH-10 W. and Ralph Fair Road. There were currently 13 charges on the card. A fraud alert was put out.

Wednesday, June 20

9:28 a.m., 8,000 Fair Oaks Parkway - While on patrol, an officer observed a “home for sale” sign that was in city ordinance violation and asked that it be removed and placed in storage.

11:13 a.m., 7800 Triple Crown - A directional sign in violation of the city code was placed in storage.

3:15 p.m., 7,700 Rolling Acres Trail - Officers tracked down a loose goat, found the gap in the bottom of the fence where it had escaped and forced it to crawl back under.

Thursday, June 21

1:50 a.m., 9000 Fair Oaks Parkway - An officer was dispatched to assist Bexar County with a red Dodge pickup that left the scene of an accident and was heading into Fair Oaks Ranch city limits. Once the truck was heading toward Boerne, a Boerne officer stopped it and arrested a 47-year old man for DWI. The rock wall in the center median in front of Frost Bank sustained about $500 damage.

10:36 a.m., 29000 Mellow Wind - A resident told police her mailbox, along with several others, was damaged and she suspected some kids in the area as the culprits.

2:55 p.m., 8600 Bold Forbes - An officer asked a family’s nanny to tell her employers that signs in their front yard were in violation of city ordinance.

6:48 p.m., 8500 Fairway Trail - An officer was dispatched to assist AMR with a 27-year-old employee of a landscaping company, who had become dehydrated.

Friday, June 22

11:38, 8700 Dew Wood - An officer placed a mutt under house quarantine after it bit a Fed Ex employee. The owner had proof of rabies vaccination.

Saturday, June 23

10 a.m., 545mm Interstate 10 West - A 63-year-old man, known to have a suspended license for felony DWI, was apprehended by police. The driver became agitated and produced an occupational license he’d been issued and told the officer he was on his way to the doctor’s office and then to an alcohol abuse class.
