Monday, June 25

7:58 a.m., 100 Third – A woman, 87, was transported to Methodist Hospital with high blood pressure and an infection.

8:27 a.m., 600 W. Bandera – A homeless man was reportedly running in front of traffic in the area of Chili’s Restaurant.

1:25 p.m., School Street and Interstate 10 West – Police were called to ask a transient who was trashing an area beneath some trees to move along.

1:38 p.m., Interstate 10 and State Highway 46 – A TxDOT employee wanted it noted that homeless people are littering Texas highways while panhandling.

5:48 p.m., 3000 Interstate 10 and Highway 41 – An intoxicated man called requesting EMS transport to a hospital for detoxification from alcohol.

8:41 p.m., 542mm Interstate 10 East – A man lost control of his vehicle while traveling east on the interstate, rolling it onto the center median.  He refused the aid of EMS.

10:31 p.m., State Highway 46 and Interstate 10 – A caller reported that a homeless man peered into her vehicle window, making her very uncomfortable.  The man, who was on the Chili’s Restaurant side of the intersection, was advised by officers to leave the area.

10:44 p.m., 100 Devonshire – Neighborhood boys damaged a resident’s roof by throwing rocks.

Tuesday, June 26

9:06 a.m., 100 Latigo – A suspicious person in a tan Honda was reported to police who, upon investigation -discovered the man to be a Terminex employee studying a map to locate the next victims of pesticide spray.

7:12 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A 17-year-old girl was transported to Methodist Hospital after she reported hitting her head on a pole when she lost her balance from having her foot struck by a car when she headed into the lane of traffic in a parking lot.

Wednesday, June 27

8:02 a.m., 35000 Interstate 10 West – Residents requested officers’ help when naked transients were spotted changing clothes in front of the Medina Children’s Home Collection Box.

1:47 p.m., 200 W. Bandera – A 17-year-old girl was issued a minor in possession of tobacco citation when an officer spotted her smoking a cigarette.

4:37 p.m., 31000 Interstate 10 West – When officers observed suspicious subjects loitering, it was discovered that one of the men had a Menard County warrant for bond forfeiture on possession of marijuana charges. He was arrested and transported to Kendall County Jail.

6:15 p.m., 100 Garden – A case of animal cruelty was reported by a man whose horse had been blotted with black marker.

Thursday, June 28

10:30 a.m., 32000 Interstate 10 West – After falling and injuring herself, a 76-year-old woman was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Monday, June 25

7:47 a.m., 100 River Ranch Road, Boerne - The complainant has a blue heeler that kills chickens and needs animal control to pick the dog up.

11:53 a.m., 100 Cascade Caverns Road, Boerne - A vehicle had a minor run-in with some county road and bridge equipment.

3:17 p.m., Cravey Road, Waring - A concerned citizen said owners of the property where people were fishing were out of town, but he knew they would not want anyone there.

3:42 p.m., Upper Balcones Road, Boerne - A woman reported a homeless man would not leave her property, but the vagrant had vacated by the time authorities arrived.

3:49 p.m., Upper Balcones Road, Boerne - Another citizen reported a homeless man with a shopping cart.

5:16 p.m., 524mm E. Interstate 10, Comfort - After a black Ford F150 struck a guard rail, two patients were transported to University Hospital via AirLife helicopter.

8:02 p.m., 900 FM1376, Sisterdale - A man, 70, who fell needed help getting up.

9:53 p.m., 100 Paradise Path, Boerne - A house was reportedly broken into.

Tuesday, June 26

1:15 a.m., 531mm W. Interstate 10, Comfort - A stranded motorist who ran out of gas trying to get to San Antonio said someone must have slipped something into her drink at a bar, causing her to get lost.

1:48 a.m., 840 Adler, Boerne - A woman, 42, with bleeding complications was attended by EMS.

2:02 a.m., 300 Upper Balcones Road, Boerne - EMS attended to a woman, 20, whose vehicle had struck a pole, causing her to experience lower-leg and back pain. A fence sustained some damage.

8:10 a.m., 100 River Ranch Road, Boerne - Dogs were reported attacking goats.

10:26 a.m., 500 Old Blanco Road, Kendalia - Seven goats appeared unaccountably.

12:14 p.m., 100 Ranger Drive, Boerne - Graffiti was reported.

12:35 p.m., 100 Amber Drive, Comfort - EMS transported a woman from a church to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

12:39 p.m., Nottingham Lane, Boerne - EMS was called to transport an 8-month-old girl with a heart condition to Methodist Children’s Hospital.

3:00 p.m., Green Cedar Road, Waring - EMS attended to a man, 76, with stomach pains.

6:30 p.m., 533mm W. Interstate 10, Boerne - A female hitchhiker was reported flashing motorists.

7:37 p.m., Highway 87 and Interstate 10, Comfort - A hit-and-run accident on the frontage road led to a citizen’s arrest on FM1621 in Waring. The citizen reported seeing the driver throw beer from the car.

7:38 p.m., 100 July Lane, Boerne - A domestic disturbance was reported long distance by a daughter whose mother told her that her brother and father were fighting.

8:24 p.m., 300 Meadow Lane, Comfort - After a big, black dog killed her chicken, a woman was advised by authorities not to discharge her firearm.

Wednesday, June 27

7:25 a.m., 100 Stonegate, Boerne - A death was declared after a woman found her 85-year-old father not breathing.

8:34 a.m., 527mm W. Interstate 10, Comfort - After an 18-wheeler accident, two motorists refused EMS ministrations.

11:25 a.m., 100 Mallard Drive, Boerne - Kids were reported shooting from the bed of a flat-bed truck.

12:34 p.m., 9200 Ranger Creek Road, Boerne - A port-o-potty was vandalized.

1:29 p.m., 529mm E. Interstate 10, Comfort - A green Peterbuilt truck struck and broke the driver-side mirror of a blue Kenworth.

9:10 p.m., 100 S. Stonegate, Boerne - A man reported being assaulted by his wife after she took his cell phone and he took it back.

10:06 a.m., 100 Blaschke Road, Comfort - A house was reportedly struck by lightning.

8:46 p.m., 500 Fourth St., Comfort - A female reported four males in a red car drove by her house and threw a lit firecracker into her car.

8:57 a.m., Dodge Road, Boerne - A vehicle struck and damaged a fence.

3:40 p.m., 100 Walnut Grove Road, Boerne - A vehicle hit a fence.

6:35 p.m., 200 W. View Point Drive, Boerne - A girl reportedly received threatening calls on her cell phone.

10:50 p.m., 200 Sparkling Springs Drive, Boerne - A man was reported for attempting to sell a pick-up truck that did not belong to him.

Saturday, June 30

9:20 a.m., Cindy Lane and Walnut Way, Boerne - A Hispanic male, 45, was arrested after an officer was assaulted while assisting in serving some papers. EMS was summoned.

3:35 p.m., Water Street and Highway 27, Comfort - Kids throwing rocks at cars broke the rear window of a van.

5:27 p.m., 200 Bluebonnet Drive, Boerne - A known male neighbor reportedly threatened the complainant’s son with a knife.

5:28 p.m., 31100 W. Interstate 10, Boerne - A man on a motorcycle was reportedly looking to buy some crystal meth.

Sunday, July 1

8:52 p.m., 100 Wagon Wheel Drive, Boerne - A woman reported that someone shot her dog with an arrow.

Monday, June 25

2:54 p.m., 8600 Summer Song Circle - After receiving a 911 call from a man saying his wife had cut her throat, an investigating officer found the woman, 61, with a through-and-through gunshot wound entering her right temple and exiting her left temple. She was unconscious but breathing. A firearm was found next to the victim.

Tuesday, June 26

1:49 p.m., 7900 Battle Intense - American Medical Response (AMR) transported a woman, 74, to Santa Rosa Hospital Northwest after she felt weak and overheated.

2:55 p.m., 7400 Rolling Acres Trail - A man reported his Mastercard number was being used by an unidentified subject in Houston to make $300 in purchases on the Internet.

4:00 p.m., 4:08 p.m., 7900 Fair Oaks Parkway - A green Dodge Stratus was on fire In the country club parking lot. Leon Springs volunteer firefighters extinguished the fire. The assistant fire chief said the fire may have been caused by a wire short near the battery, which caught the air cleaner on fire and then spread to the carburetor.

6:59 p.m., 7700 Fair Oaks Parkway - A man reported that his small collie was attacked and bitten by three large dogs as he and his wife were walking.

Wednesday, June 27

7700 Fair Oaks Parkway - A driver stopped for an expired inspection sticker was subsequently cited, after an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana, for possession of drug paraphernalia and the expired inspection sticker.

Thursday, June 28

7:03 p.m., 29200 Ralph Fair Road - An employee at the Fair Oaks Market reported receiving a check on June 17 for $28.72 in gas, but the check was returned June 22 with a stop-payment stamp on the front and “cancelled” stamped on the back. There was no contact number, but there was a name and Fair Oaks Ranch address.

7:09 p.m., 8100 Fair Oaks Parkway - After an officer stopped a red Ford F150 for having no front license plate, the driver asked why he had been stopped for the offense when his father had been operating the truck for the past five years and had not been stopped for that offense. Every time he drives the truck he gets stopped, he said, asking if police stop all the Corvettes and Mercedes in the area for the same offence. The officer said he didn’t have an answer for those particular questions, but, he continued, when he sees a violation, he stops the vehicle.

7:35 p.m., 29300 Lawrence Way - A woman, 44, reported that, at 1:30 a.m. the previous night, three white males approximately 12 to 14 years old cut her black punching bag from a tree in her back yard then ran away on foot.

Friday, June 29

7600 Rolling Acres Trail - A 30-year-old man was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

Saturday, June 30

2:32 a.m., 29600 Terra Bella - Officers responding to a report of an elderly man, 82, who had fallen and was unresponsive assessed his status using an external defibrillator device and determined it was not necessary to administer a shock. AMR took the man, whose wife said he was suffering from a form of cancer and taking numerous medications, to Methodist Hospital.

5:40 p.m., 29200 Seabiscuit Drive - AMR took over from Leon Springs volunteer firefighters who were treating a 59-year-old man with severe stomach pains, and transported him to Methodist Hospital.

8:41 p.m., 8500 Fairway Green Drive - AMR responded to a woman experiencing chest pains, cramping in her left arm, hot flashes and dizziness. However, she showed normal heart rhythm and, upon feeling better, decided she did not need to be hospitalized.

Sunday, July 1

1:45 a.m., 13500 FM3351 - A male driver was cited for speeding and failure to show proof of insurance and was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

3:41 a.m., 7600 Pimlico Lane - Responding to a female’s report of a boyfriend causing a disturbance and refusing to leave, and a subsequent report by her sister saying it was her sibling and not the boyfriend who was intoxicated and causing a disturbance, an officer verified the latter and left after the boyfriend when home and the sister said she would stay.

4:40 p.m., 31300 Rexon Circle - Lightning struck a home, going in through the chimney and into the living room area, where it caused floorboards to lift, said the homeowner, who was sitting outside with is wife when the incident occurred.
