Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final installment of the Harry Potter series, will be on sale at 12:01 a.m. at Read All About It Bookstore, 305 S. Main St. in Boerne.

The San Antonio Missions have invited the community of Boerne to the Nelson Wolff Stadium to enjoy one of America’s favorite pastimes. Come join Boerne Parks and Recreation and the San Antonio Missions for a baseball game. The works of some of the Hill Country’s talented artists will be featured at a fund-raising event to benefit military and civilian burn survivors. Hosting the event 7 to 11 p.m. at Don Strange Ranch in Welfare, The Moonlight also assists those families who have lost a loved one to a burn injury and, due to current conflicts abroad, also offers benefits to multiple amputees. The Friends Of Guadalupe River/Honey Creek Inc. host the second annual Honey Creek Homesteaders Homecoming at 6:30 p.m. at the Guadalupe River State Park amphitheater. Descendents of pioneers who settled, ranched, farmed and lived in the Guadalupe River/ Honey Creek region of Comal and Kendall Counties are invited to share stories and artifacts from the past.
