Winning ticket makes one woman happy |

In a drawing held at the Coldwell Banker Swope Realtors office, Cheryl Smith of Boerne was the winner of a one week stay at the five-star resort Paradise Village in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Along with the week's accommodations, Cheryl received a check for $1,200. The ticket was picked by Mayor Dan Heckler. The proceeds of the sale of the raffle tickets went to Christian Women's Job Corps of Kendall County, a non-profit organization to help women in need. "Cheryl was really shocked that she was the winner and was still in shock after receiving her check and reservation" said Emily Swope, member of the board of directors for CWJC. Also presenting the prize was Lorraine Broglie, treasurer of CWJC.
