Buddy Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Buddy and I am, simply put, a big dog. People think I am rough and hard to handle just because I am big and I usually get overlooked when people come out to find a new family pet. I think it isn’t fair, because I am a good boy. I am not mean; in fact, I am just the opposite. I am very friendly and I like both big people and little people. I like to play and am good at fetching. I don’t always bring the toy back, but I will go get it. I give really wet kisses and once I get to run the energy out of my system, I will sit right by you and put my head on your feet or lap if you will let me, and just enjoy being with you. Because I am a big boy, I need someone who is strong enough to work with me on a leash, because I get excited to be outside and I love to play; but I am smart, and I will learn fast if you are willing to take some time to teach me. I like the water too, so if you like the river or the lake – I am your boy. I am very sociable and would like to be part of a family and be able to live inside and outside. If you think I could be a new friend for you, please come out and visit me. I live at the Bulverde Area Humane Society. The people here will help you on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or you can call anytime at 830-980-2247 and one of the people will help you get to me. You can also visit our Web site at www.bulverdeareahumanesociety.com to make donations or to find a little more about me or about any of my friends living here. I hope to meet you soon – and bring treats!
