Cibolo

Aug. 11: 700 block of Farm Road 78, a motorist was charged with driving while intoxicated.

—: 400 block of FM 78, Cibolo police and firefighters responded to a small grass fire.

Aug. 12: 200 block of Storm Mountain Road, officers responded to a family disturbance.

Aug. 13: 100 block of Bentwood Ranch, a resident said a neighbor’s dog attacked her pet canine.

— 200 block of Valona Drive, police responded to an assault report.

Aug. 15: 100 block of Farm Road 1103, a car accident was reported.

— 100 block of Briar Street, Cibolo and Schertz personnel tended to a child who swallowed penny. The child was treated at the hospital.

A service call count was unavailable.

Garden Ridge

Garden Ridge recorded two offenses, 10 incidents, 67 warnings, 34 citations, one arrest, three calls to assist another agency, three alarms and one animal call for the week.

Schertz

Aug. 10: 1700 block of Schertz Parkway, officers responded to a harassment report.

— 7100 block of Farm Road 1518, police responded to a report of stolen copper telephone wire.

Aug. 11: 1400 block of Schertz Parkway, an officer talked with a resident about a criminal mischief report in which someone ripped up his American flag on his front lawn.

Aug. 12: 5300 block of Country Club Blvd., police responded to a vehicular hit-and-run.

Aug. 13: 17400 block of I-35, a gas station attendant said a motorist filled up his car and drove off without paying.

— 5300 block of Saratoga Place, a resident said someone broke into her pickup and stole parts from the vehicle’s DVD system.

Aug. 14: 300 block of Windy Point, a city employee told police that a fire hydrant was missing from its post.

Schertz police received 411 service calls this week.

Selma

Aug. 11: 8200 block of Agora Parkway, a two-car accident was reported.

— 8300 block of Agora, police responded to a theft at a retail store.

Aug. 12: 16000 block of I-35, an officer gave a verbal warning to a motorist pulled over for a defective taillight.

— 16700 block of Lookout Road, four concertgoers were detailed for possession of marijuana.

Aug. 13: 16000 block of I-35, a two-car accident was reported.

Aug. 15: 15000 block of I-35, a motorist was pulled over for speeding. He was arrested for driving with an invalid license and San Antonio warrants while a passenger was arrested on an active warrant.

— 8500 block of Phoenix Avenue, officers responded to a report about a dog being too noisy.

Selma police received 247 service calls this week.

Windcrest

Aug. 8: 200 block of Weathercock Lane, police was alerted to reported violations of local codes about vegetation in an alleyway at a few homes.

— 4800 block of Walzem Road, a man was arrested for stealing beer from a convenience store. The man was also shown to have San Antonio warrants.

Aug. 9: 1100 block of Crestway Drive, a motorist pulled over for speeding was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The motorist was also shown to have San Antonio warrants.

Aug. 10: 5400 block of Crestway, a motorist involved in a minor accident was arrested for a Medina County warrant.

Aug. 11: 8100 block of Fourwinds Drive, a motorist at a fast-food drive-thru was arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor, and possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 13: 400 block of Windcrest Drive, a vehicle was burglarized.

Aug. 14: 5600 block of Walzem, officers responded to a theft of a riding lawnmower.

Windcrest police received 212 service calls.
