BOERNE

MONDAY, AUG. 13

3:37 p.m., 542mm Interstate 10 – A vehicle drove off the roadway and damaged divider cables. No injuries were reported.

5:40 p.m., 1300 S. Main – Two trucks stalled after running out of gas and blocked the northbound lane.

TUESDAY, AUG. 14

3:27 p.m., 1300 S. Main – A teen was detained while trying to steal beer and arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

8:09 p.m., 700 River – Police responded to a report of a burglary. A moneybox was missing but no suspect was found.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 15

12:59 p.m., 200 S. Main – A man was stopped for a defective tail light and was arrested for a Boerne municipal warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

8:56 p.m., 3700 W. Interstate 10 – Police approached the drivers of a vehicle that was parked illegally in a handicapped spot. The passengers were issued citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and the driver was arrested on a Medina County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

THURSDAY, AUG. 16

9:42 a.m., 1500 S. Main – Two cars were involved in an accident with injuries.

5:38 p.m., Old San Antonio, Stonegate – police assisted the roads department in erecting road barricades due to high water.

5:45 p.m., 1100 N. Main – Police assisted stalled cars out of the road as rising rainwater flooded the street.

7:42 p.m., 400 W. Bandera – After a woman left her 13-year-old son in her car in a store parking lot, the boy started the vehicle and drove it into another car.

FRIDAY, AUG. 17

12:20 a.m., Oak Park/ Herff – Police stopped a driver for a mirror violation and arrested the driver on a warrant for speeding in a school zone.

1:04 p.m., 400 E. Blanco – A man entered the police department to inquire about a citation he had received and was arrested on warrants for failure to display a driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

SATURDAY, AUG. 18

12:15 a.m., Calk – Three teens were issued citations for minor consumption of alcohol.

2:33 p.m., 100 Chesterna – EMS and police assisted a 96-year-old woman who had fallen and hit her head.

8:24 p.m., 400 S. Main – Police pulled over a man for an expired motor vehicle registration and arrested him on a warrant for speeding.

11:10 p.m., 1000 N. Main – A man was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than two ounces).

SUNDAY, AUG. 19

10:07 a.m., 100 City Lake – Police removed several people from City Lake Park after someone had broken the chain intended to keep people out of the park.

11:04 a.m., School/ Cibolo – Police assisted street department workers to replace net barricades that were damaged during the night.

1:58 p.m., 100 N Main – Three teens were transported to the police department for their parents to pick them up after being detained at a store for shoplifting.

2:20 p.m., 100 Highland – A woman was arrested for driving with a license invalid.

7:35 p.m., Old San Antonio – A teen was issued citations for minor possession of alcohol and minor possession of tobacco.

KENDALL COUNTY

MONDAY, AUG. 13

7:07 a.m., 100 Savannah Jon Blvd., Boerne – EMS transported an unresponsive man to University Hospital.

9:58 a.m., 10000 North Creek Road, Comfort – Windows were broken by high schoolers playing football.

12:17 p.m., 100 Dove court, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 53, who experienced tingling and lightheadedness.

1:06 p.m., 224 Spring Road, Comfort – Phone harassment was reported.

2:58 p.m., FM1376 and Wasp Creek, Boerne – The adult male driver in a rollover accident was transported to University Hospital via EMS.

4:20 p.m., Jennifer Drive, Boerne – A possible break-in and burglary was reported by a caretaker.

4:51 p.m., 200 Sky Line Drive, Comfort – A home break-in was reported.

5:35 p.m., 31000 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A woman at a health club was taken to Boerne Urgent Care with breathing difficulty.

TUESDAY, AUG. 14

3:30 a.m., 100 S. Oak Bluff Blvd., Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 75, with chest pain.

2:29 p.m., 500 Cordillera Trace, Boerne – Vandalism to the front entrance lighting fixtures was reported.

4:58 p.m., 100 Arrowhead Lane, Boerne – Firefighters and EMS were called to a home.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 15

1:57 p.m., 100 Oak Acres Lane, Boerne – Criminal mischief to a 2005 Dodge pick-up was reported.

10:17 p.m., 100 Jackrabbit Circle, Boerne – After a house was reportedly struck by lightning, an alarm panel continued to be hot and was unable to be turned off.

THURSDAY, AUG. 16

2:30 p.m., 534mm E. Interstate 10, Boerne – A silver Honda left the main highway, crossed a frontage road and plowed through a fence.

9:40 p.m., 700 FM1376, Boerne – A Dodge dually was nearly washed off the roadway.

FRIDAY, AUG. 17

10:55 a.m., Upper Balcones Road at the county line, Boerne – A washed-out fence resulted in sheep in the road.

12:11 p.m., 200 Alta Drive, Boerne – After a 31-year-old intoxicated man who was off his medication was reportedly throwing things at his 70-year-old father, including hitting him I the head with a five-gallon bucket, he was arrested and diverted to mental health services. The father declined treatment for his cuts and abrasions.

2:05 p.m., 600 FM474, Boerne – A break – in was reported at the Guadalupe River Ranch, where a door and windows were broken.

7:03 p.m., 900 FM1376, Sisterdale – A 70-year-old man who had fallen was given assistance.

9:03 p.m., 31500 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A woman was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.

SATURDAY, AUG. 18

0:03 a.m., 100 River Oaks road, Comfort – A female, 14, who had hit her head on a trampoline and was fading in and out of consciousness was transported by EMS to University Hospital.

0:51 a.m., Doeskin Drive, Boerne – Phone threats by a man were reported.

6:15 a.m., Toepperwein Road, Boerne – A woman, 74, who had recently undergone bypass surgery and was feeling weak was transported to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital.

2:35 p.m., 100 Ranger Drive, Boerne – The death of a female hospice patient, 43, was reported.

3:29 p.m., Toepperwein Road, Boerne – A man reported neighbors shooting shotguns and “peppering” his barn.

5:48 p.m., 300 Remington, Bergheim – A woman reported that her granddaughter, 4, was taken by the girl’s mother, who did not have custody rights. An Amber Alert was issued.

SUNDAY, AUG. 19

11:17 a.m., 300 FM1376, Boerne – A woman reported that “the devil” was trying to start a grease fire on her stove.

1:37 p.m., 515mm E. Interstate 10, Kerrville – A maroon Ford F150 was reported speeding toward Comfort, and it crashed at the 523 mile marker, temporarily trapping its intoxicated driver before his arrest.

8:33 p.m., 600 Fifth St., Comfort – Three males were cited for public intoxication and open containers.

10:16 p.m., 100 View Point Drive, Boerne – A disturbance was reported when a “friend” wouldn’t leave.

10:35 p.m., 100 Canyon Loop, Boerne – An intoxicated ex-wife, 36, was reported for causing a disturbance. She was given a courtesy ride to a Boerne motel.

FAIR OAKS RANCH

FRIDAY, AUG. 10

4:18 a.m., 7900 Fair Oaks Parkway – After a FedEx driver failed to let the parking brake on his truck before going inside to deliver a package, the truck rolled into a silver Honda Civic, which was then pushed into a white Ford F250. The drivers of all three vehicles exchanged insurance information.

9:00 a.m., 29800 Fairway Vista – A woman, 73, who had fallen out of bed and bloodied her nose was transported by AMR to Methodist Hospital.

5:10 p.m., 8600 Rolling Acres Trail – A woman reported the theft of jewelry from her home.

6:14 p.m., 8300 High Cliff Drive – A woman, 84, who had fallen and possibly broken her hip was transported by AMR to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital.

SATURDAY, AUG. 11

3:40 p.m., 7400 Rolling Acres Trail – A metal mailbox was mowed down by an unknown vehicle.

3:57 p.m., 29300 Terra Vista – A man who had filled his gas tank the previous day had only a quarter of a tank left this morning, and he believed it to have been siphoned off event though the vehicle had a locking gas tank that had to be released from inside the vehicle.

SUNDAY, AUG. 12

12:39 p.m., 30900 FM3351 – A traffic stop led to a driver being arrested for possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces) and dangerous drugs, namely his mother’s prescription pain pills, which he had taken without her knowledge.

5:18 p.m., 31400 Wild Oak Hill – Juveniles and their father were told that fireworks were prohibited within the city limits, an ordinance of which they said they were unaware as new residents.

MONDAY, AUG. 13

0:06 a.m., 8600 Jodhpur Drive – After returning home from a week in the hospital, a resident observed that someone other than her daughter, who was authorized to be there, had been in her home and opened her mail. The resident believed the intruder to be her son, 43, who she said was not allowed to enter her residence under any circumstances. She said she believed her son to be merely interested in his inheritance and, for lack of real evidence, she did not want to press charges.
