We’ve been talking about the “chamber thing” since July, when members attending the 2007 membership event laughed ’til they cried while participating in the single most successful chamber membership effort in the state of Texas, according to Jimmy Cusano, spokesperson for Your Chamber Connection, the national organization who helps chambers build membership. “Godmudda” and “Godfadda” designations were officially bestowed on particularly successful members of the Boerne business community for their contributions during the event. We also had several “ladies” who made a special appearance and probably will never be seen again! If you weren’t involved in this once-in-a-lifetime experience, we don’t want you to miss another one. The “godmuddas” and the “godfadda” will all be on hand to welcome you to the event.

Your chamber of commerce is showcasing the 260 new member businesses that joined the chamber during our July event and the 120 volunteers who worked so hard to make that experience a success.

We encourage you to get into the spirit of the event by dressing up as your favorite movie or television star or character (optional). You’ll be treated like a celebrity while walking the red carpet to meet the new chamber stars and enjoying beverages and hors d’oeuvres served by local chamber-member eateries. Admission is free. The experience: priceless!
