Great Northwest Library, 9050 Wellwood, will celebrate Chuseok, a Korean Harvest Festival, from 2 to 4 p.m. The schedule includes the opening of an art exhibition by Korean artist Kristin Sue Kim; a performance by the Na Myong Ja Korean Folk Dancers; and a demonstration by the Korea-America Tae Kwon Do Academy. A reception for Ms. Kim, the dance performance and Tae Kwon Do demonstration will take place in the Library Community Meeting Room. Kim’s art work will be hung through out the library, from Sept. 15 through Oct. 26. This event is free and open to the public.
