The Incredibles on Ice
By Allison Selk

The superhero family, the Incredibles, try a new adventure:  surviving a family vacation at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack are back, this time appearing as part of a brand-new Disney on Ice event, “Disney presents Pixar’s The Incredibles in a Magic Kingdom Adventure.” San Antonio will have a chance to see this new show April 12-16 at the Alamodome.

This fun-filled production reveals what happens when the family tries to blend in and mask their super powers while experiencing Disney’s most popular theme park attractions.

Syndrome, the villain
The villain in the show is Syndrome, appearing to spoil the family’s fun. They try to stop Syndrome, but he is too powerful, and they look to the audience for help. Every child must help the Incredibles take down the villain by using their complimentary “Incredi-band,” a special light-up cuff, full of powers.

Marketing manager for the Alamodome Andrea DeLaune says, “The kids get really involved when they have to use their Incredi-band to help during the show. They absolutely love it!”

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster ticket centers, Alamodome box office or by phone at 224-9600.
