BOERNE

MONDAY, SEPT. 24

10:01 a.m., 600 Adler – A suspicious metal suitcase was spotted outside of the Curington Elementary School cafeteria. The school evacuated the building, moving everyone to the opposite end of the building. Emergency workers investigated the suitcase and discovered that it was harmless and belonged to a music teacher at the school.

8:40 p.m., 700 River – A woman called police to investigate a large rock of compressed white powder that she had found. Narcotics were suspected, but police discovered the rock to be made entirely of baking soda.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 25

5:14 p.m., 100 Shadywood – EMS assisted a 75 year-old woman experiencing a stroke.

11:55 p.m., 200 S. Main – A man was pulled over and arrested for driving while intoxicated.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26

8:26 p.m., 31500 Interstate 10 West – A juvenile male was arrested for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces. He also received citations as a minor in possession of alcohol and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

10:28 p.m., 800 Johns – A man was arrested for possession of narcotics, less than two ounces.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 27

5:09 p.m., 1400 E. Blanco – A man was arrested on a Bexar County warrant for an expired vehicle registration.

11:06 p.m., 545mm Interstate 10 East – A driver crossed the highway median and collided with another car while driving on the wrong side of the highway. The offending driver got out of the car and ran away. When police caught him, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and evading arrest. The highway was closed and traffic re-directed for over an hour because of the accident.

MONDAY, SEPT. 24

8:52 p.m., 100 Park Ridge, Boerne – A distraught and tearful resident reported that her neighbors have been playing loud music for three days now and she’s “had enough.”

TUESDAY, SEPT. 25

12:40 a.m., 100 Creekwood Place, Comfort – A man reported his white Mazda stolen by his friend’s wife.

2:04 p.m., 400 E. Blanco, Boerne – Identity theft was reported.

11:16 p.m., 31100 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A bar fight brought authorities to the scene, but EMS’ attention was refused.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26

4:37 a.m., 100 Oak Bluff Blvd., Boerne – A woman, 54, with breathing difficulty was transported by EMS to North Central Baptist Hospital.

11:59 a.m., 100 Lake Run, Boerne – Check forgery was reported.

12:45 p.m., 100 S. Hilltop Drive, Boerne – EMS transported a diabetic, hyperglycemic woman, 25, to North Central Baptist Hospital.

8:11 p.m., 6500 Camp Bullis Road, San Antonio – A woman reported her soon-to-be-ex-husband was verbally abusive to her at 100 Blaschke Road.

8:50 p.m., 100 Ranger Creek Road, Boerne – After a 77-year-old man with early Alzheimer’s disease was reported missing, authorities found him at 9:39 p.m. in the neighborhood.

10:59 p.m., 300 FM1376, Boerne – A man reported that his wife, 50, who left at noon in her red Mitsubishi for a Bunco game in Fair Oaks Ranch had never arrived and hadn’t returned home.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 27

3:38 p.m., 31400 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A woman who alleged sexual assault and couldn’t move her arms was attended to by EMS.

5:46 p.m., 400 FM474, Boerne – A fire of 15 to 20 acres was reported on the Taylor property.

9:09 p.m., 100 Spanish Pass, Boerne – EMS attended to a man, 65, who experienced fainting had a history of heart problems.

11:06 p.m., 545mm E. Interstate 10, Boerne – A minor auto accident was reported.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 28

12:12 a.m., 100 Old Blanco Road, Kendalia – Unknown persons pulled up a fence and gate.

5:14 a.m., 100 Glenn Oaks Drive, Boerne – An elderly man required help getting up from a fall.

7:52 a.m., 100 Old San Antonio Road, Boerne – EMS attended to a woman, 81, who experienced weakness, hypertension and leg pain.

1:46 p.m., 200 FM1376, Boerne – A fire of about five acres was reported.

5:29 p.m., 200 Buntline, Bergheim – A woman reported a man started a job and didn’t complete it.

6:23 p.m., 500 Deer Road, Alamo Springs – A woman was reported lying in a ditch next to her car unable to walk and smelling strongly of alcohol.

9:43 p.m., 400 FM474, Boerne – EMS transported a man, 59, to Methodist Hospital with symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 29

9:41 a.m., 100 Saddle view Drive, Boerne – EMS transported a man, 66, to Methodist Hospital after he was reported clammy, nauseous and in and out of consciousness.

1:28 p.m., 400 E. Highway 46, Boerne – EMS attended to a shaky, diabetic, asthmatic woman, 56, who signed a refusal for transport to medical facilities.

4:43 p.m., 500 Walnut Way, Boerne – Three brown dogs running loose reportedly killed several roosters.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 30

2:20 p.m., 800 Johns Road, Boerne – Authorities arrested a man who was reported walking toward Interstate 10 carring a case of beer then laying in a ditch “taking a nap.”

THURSDAY, SEPT. 20

6:02 p.m., 30200 Ciblo Run – AMR transported a woman, 77, to St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital after symptoms of a possible stroke.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 23

0:12 a.m., 30400 Fairway Run Drive – The death of a woman, 87, from natural causes was reported.

10:23 a.m., 301 Fairway Vista – A verbal disturbance was reported.

11:26 a.m., 7700 Sweetwind Circle – A resident reported that he and several neighbors have had their houses toilet-papered. He said his mailbox and front door had been smeared with deodorant and baby powder, and plastic forks, spoons and knives were stuck in the grass.

MONDAY, SEPT. 24

7:39 a.m., 29100 Terra Vista – AMR transported a woman, 89, to Methodist Hospital after she complained of dizziness.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26

12:29 a.m., 8400 Fairway Valley Drive – After stopping a white Oldsmobile Alero, an officer arrested the driver for driving with an invalid license and cited her for no insurange and failure to maintain a single lane.

12:02 p.m., 29000 Ralph Fair Road – AMR transported a woman with heart trouble to Methodist Hospital.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 27

9:30 a.m., 9000 Fair Oaks Parkway – A man reported that his new business suite was burglarized of a bucket of sheetrock nails and a push broom valued at $70.

8:50 p.m., 7286 Dietz Elkhorn – A San Antonio man reporte that, while he was visiting a friend in Fair Oaks Ranch, a skateboarder bumped into his vehicle. There was no damaged reported to the skateboarder or the vehicle.
