White

TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas announces the appointment of Denise White as assistant to the headmaster for institutional advancement. Formerly vice president for corporate relations of the American Heart Association, Texas Affiliate, she has a background in business strategy and cause marketing.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, White is also a member of the board of trustees of St. Luke’s Episcopal School in San Antonio.

Kendall 4-Hers attend state fair; Bergmann shows champion lamb

Kendall County 4-H members attended the State Fair of Texas in Dallas the first week of October. McKenna Bergmann showed the Grand Champion Lamb.

Garrett Phillips placed 10th in his class with his Hampshire hog. McKenna Bergmann placed ninth with her meat goat. Sheep exhibitors included Kayley Wall showing her Southdown Sheep followed by Taylor Stewart with a 10th place and Garrett Phillips placed 12th.

Cameron Stewart placed fifth with his medium wool lamb.
