COC Chairman Chad Upham and new Visitors Center Director Larry Woods

As president of The Woods Group, he worked internationally with tourism partners to develop marketing strategies as well as with several well known hotels doing feasibility studies, marketing plan development, and sales training. In the past Woods served as vice president of marketing for Tapatio Springs Resort and Conference Center. He also served as director of sales for Del Lago Hotel and Resort in Montgomery, Texas, the Radisson Hotel in Visalia, Calif., the Sheraton Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif., the Hershey Hotel in Corpus Christi, and La Mansion Del Rio, San Antonio.
