Love Diana, but where’s the crime?

Dear Editor,

My husband and I have long subscribed to the North San Antonio Times, and thoroughly enjoy reading it. One column that is fairly new to this publication is by Diana Chaloux on fitness and health - both very important topics. I have noticed that occasionally this column does not appear, and then am relieved to see it reappear in a later edition. I hope that you will continue to host Ms. Chaloux’s column, and especially one focused on those topics.

Secondly, as we are residents of Alamo Heights, I always look for the “Crime Reports” column. Lately, it has been missing quite often. I wish I could believe that this was a huge cause for celebration and that absolutely no crimes had occurred in any of the areas in north San Antonio! Sadly, I don’t believe this is the case. Can you enlighten us as to why the column is not in your paper every week? We would appreciate knowing the answer - and definitely DO appreciate the column!

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Peggy McCaskill Foerster and Paul Foerster

Dear Peggy and Paul,

Diana’s columns have been a constant source of inspiration for many people. Her column is one of several rotating columns on diverse subject such as pets, restaurants, shops and others that are printed at different intervals. Hopefully, this keeps the newspaper fresh every week and our readers anticipating their favorite columns.

As for the police reports, you are not alone in wondering where they went. I’ll make sure it returns to a weekly feature. Thanks for reading and for your input.
