BOERNE – Visitors will have the opportunity to peek inside seven distinct bed and breakfasts this weekend at the inaugural “B&B& Cuisine Tour” that will take place on 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $20 per ticket Fine local restaurants will be paired with each unique B&B. The line-up is as follows: Eagle Ranch B&B/The Creek Restaurant, Acorn B&B/ Bear Moon Bakery, Honey Dew Cottage/ Boerne Vistro, Cibolo Creek Loft/ Hungry Horse Restaurant, Carpenter’s Cottage/ Cypress Grille, Garden Gate Cottage/ Boerne Grill & Daily Grind, Namaste/ Peach Tree Restaurant. Each of the participating properties will be conducting tours of their facility, with many already decorated for the holidays. The tour is self-guided, and maps are available beginning at noon (day of event) at the Boerne Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (1407 S. Main). Tickets may be purchased there in advance or on the day of the event. The participating B&B’s range from in-town guest houses to country-area retreats. Several are award-winners including “Best of the Best” honors and other distinctions from area chambers of commerce, newspaper, and lodging associations. The restaurant partners represent the best that Boerne has to offer in local cuisine. A “B&B Getaway” will be given away during a drawing (tickets stubs will serve as entry).
