78023 2 motorcycles lead chase on SH16 Oct. 23, 1:27 a.m., 15000 block of State Highway 16 Officer attempted to pull over two motorcycles that were driving recklessly. When they refused to stop, a chase ensued involving five patrol vehicles, state troopers and a Bandera County sheriff. Suspects were arrested and transported to the magistrate’s office for evading arrest. 78251 Domestic violence injures 2 Oct. 16, 8 p.m., 7700 block of Pipers View Officer was dispatched after a 911 hang-up call. Upon arriving, a woman reported that she had an altercation with her common-law husband, who had already departed. She said she had decided to divorce yesterday and the evening got tenuous when they discussed money matters. The woman said she threw a picture on the floor, and the husband picked it up and threw it. At some point, the argument moved into the kitchen, where they threw items around the kitchen, the wife said. Officers observed items strewn about the kitchen. At some point, a pot of boiling water splashed on the woman, scalding her. She took her cell phone and said she was going to call the police, and she said he took the phone from her and broke it. The wife says she kicked him, bruising his right thigh. Evidence technician took photos. 78250 Former employee says he was almost beat up Oct. 15, 7 p.m., 9500 block of Valley Dale A man notified police after going to his former place of employment to pay back his boss, who he owes in unworked wages. The man only had $60 when he owed the boss $2,000. As the conversation heated up, the man says several employees surrounded him in a threatening manner, including a suspect who moved as if he was going to hit the man with the clipboard. The man paid his $60 and left, and the boss said he had until the end of the week to come up with the rest of the money before he got a lawyer. Man was advised not to go back to the business without an officer present. 78249 Drive-by canning damages woman’s car Oct. 19, 5 p.m., 4900 block of Furman A woman says she was driving her 2006 silver Honda Accord southbound on 281 on the access road between 410 and Sunset when a driver in a blue vehicle passed her and threw an aluminum can at her car for an unknown reason, causing two dents. 78238 Argument over potato chips escalates to talk of sex act Oct. 20, 11 p.m.. 3200 block of Northwestern A VIA security guard flagged down an officer after two men got into an argument when one offered the other’s daughter some potato chips. The man thought the young girl was giving oral sex to an unknown man in a vehicle parked inside the terminal lot. The man did not see the sex act, but saw the girl exit the vehicle sweating. The security guard didn’t see the act either, but wanted it documented in case the father later complained. No further action was taken.
