MONDAY, OCT. 29

7:35 p.m., 100 S. Shadow Knoll – A bicycle was reported stolen from a resident’s garage.

8:10 p.m., 700 River – A man was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

9:12 p.m., 100 Whisper Way – A man was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than two ounces).

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 31

7:59 a.m., 100 Crosspoint – A woman was arrested on a Kendall County warrant for theft by check.

2:22 p.m., 1400 E. Blanco – A woman was arrested on a Brewster County warrant for theft by check.

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

1:15 a.m., 1100 River – Two juvenile males cited for minor consumption of alcohol.

10:51 a.m., highway 46/ Interstate 10 – A transient male was issued a written warning for violation of a city panhandling ordinance.

8:14 p.m., 100 W. San Antonio – Police asked skateboarders on property to leave. The skaters left without further incident.

8:30 p.m., Upper Balcones – Unidentified subjects drove past and threw eggs at a restaurant.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

9:25 a.m., 100 W Avogt – A trailer was reported stolen from a business.

3:42 p.m., 100 Menger Springs – Boerne firefighters extinguished a minor fire on the new emergency room under construction. No one was seriously hurt.

10:39 p.m., 1200 S. Main – Following a minor auto accident in a parking lot, a driver was cited for DUI and minor possession of tobacco and a passenger was cited for minor consumption of alcohol and possession of tobacco.

10:54 p.m., 100 S. Main – A man was arrested for possession of marijuana  (less than two ounces).

SATURDAY, NOV. 3

2:00 a.m., 400 O’Grady – a man was arrested for public intoxication.

3:19 a.m., 200 Sophia – A house was toilet-papered. Subjects were not located.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

11:06 p.m., 300 S. Plant – A man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

MONDAY, OCT. 29

1:25 a.m., North Creek Road and Interstate 10, Comfort – Sprint workers reported the theft of copper.

9:38 a.m., 100 Oak Bluff Blvd., Boerne – EMS attended to an elderly women who experienced numbness in her legs.

12:43 p.m., N. Highway 87, Comfort – EMS transported a woman to Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital after she too the wrong medication for Parkinson’s disease and was unable to walk.

8:32 p.m., 200 Zoeller Lane, Waring – A woman was detained after a 73-year-old woman complained the former stole her Percodan.

9:44 p.m., 840 E. Adler, Boerne – A 25-year-old man complaining of headaches was transported to the South Texas Medical Center.

TUESDAY, OCT. 30

1:08 p.m., 400 FM474, Boerne – EMS transported a woman, 50, to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital after she experienced a high fever and bloody nose after hepatic surgery.

3:40 p.m., Scenic Loop Road, Boerne – A man, 46, was arrested for violation of a protective order.

4:05 p.m., 600 Kreutzberg Road, Boerne – Illegal dumping was reported.

5:54 p.m., N. Highway 87, Comfort – Criminal mischief was reportedly perpetrated on a mailbox.

8:18 p.m., Rust Lane, Boerne – A verbal disturbance resulted in a man who had been living with the complainant being escorted from the property.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 31

1:35 a.m., 500 Water St., Comfort – Fire completely destroyed a home.

12:04 p.m., Old Blanco Road, Kendalia – A resident reported a sheep shot.

2:56 p.m., 500 N. Highway 87, Comfort – A noninjury rollover accident resulted in cattle running loose from a trailer.

6:51 p.m., 100 W. Highway 46, Boerne – A resident reported dogs had attacked cattle.

9:06 p.m., 100 River Trail, Boerne – After a woman received a cell-phone text message, she and a man, who had both been drinking, got into an altercation in which each hit the other.

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

12:52 a.m., 100 Coterie Place, Boerne – EMS attended to a woman, 90, who was ill.

3:05 a.m., 600 Alamo Road, Comfort – Mailboxes on Alamo Road and Ulmus were damaged.

5:24 a.m., 300 Canyon Trail, Boerne – EMS attended to a woman, 75, with breathing difficulty.

5:57 p.m., 100 Paradise Path, Boerne – A woman reported her ex-husband (common law) trashed her house while she was away.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

6:12 a.m., 400 FM474, Boerne – EMS transported a woman, 67, to St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital after a fall.

8:55 a.m., 600 Fifth St., Comfort – A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle.

4:20 a.m., 600 Front St., Comfort – Locks in the back of a building were cut and batteries stolen.

SATURDAY, NOV. 3

1:44 a.m., 31100 W. Interstate 10, Boerne – A disturbance was reported in which a woman in a parking lot banged her fists on a building and her head on a fence and refused two men who were trying to take her home.

10:19 a.m., 800 FM473, Comfort – A motorcycle fatality occurred in which Charles G. LaFavret, 65, was declared dead at the scene.

1:30 a.m., 200 Sparkling Springs Drive, Boerne – A man reported text-message threats from his ex-wife.

1:00 p.m., 533mm E. Interstate 10, Boerne – AirLife transported a man with head injuries after a trailer truck flipped.

8:46 p.m., 300 Canyon Loop, Boerne – A man, 37, was detained after shooting weapons outside a residence.

9:29 p.m., 100 Lake Front, Boerne – EMS attended to a child, 8, with seizures.

10:19 p.m., 100 Elm Bottom, Boerne – A possibly intoxicated man was reported firing a gun into the air.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

8:25 a.m., 527mm W. Interstate 10, Comfort – A 70-year-old man in a white pickup was in a rollover accident, but no injury was reported.

FAIR OAKS RANCH

THURSDAY, NOV. 1

7:48 p.m., 29000 Ralph Fair - Police were notified that a reckless driver was on the loose and was now parked at the market. An officer contacted the 35-year-old driver, who said he’d been eating while driving, which caused the poor operation of his vehicle. The responding officer could not detect any other substance that would impair his driving.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

7:38 p.m., 8300 Fair Oaks Parkway - While on patrol, an officer observed a black Acura on the side of the road with a female walking away from it and a man from the vehicle pursuing her. The officer further noticed the man restraining the female, who seemed to be upset. The man said he was the girl’s father and was attempting to keep her from running away. The officer further explained to the teen the consequences of running away from home.

2:45 a.m., 29000 Cojack - A resident reported his vehicle stolen, but soon after, informed police that his son had the vehicle in question.

SATURDAY, NOV. 3

1:31 p.m., 7900 Fair Oaks Ranch - An officer responded to an ambulance request to assist with a 55-year-old man with a possible heart attack on the tennis courts. Upon arrival, the man said he felt light-headed but had no other symptoms of a heart attack. AMR advised him to be seen by a doctor anyway, and the resident said he would transport himself to a medical facility.

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

6:55 a.m., 8000 block of Fair Oaks Parkway - An officer responded an accident in which she was traveling south on Fair Oaks Parkway when the deer ran in front of her vehicle. The animal was deceased at the scene and hauled away by animal control.

12:20 p.m., 29000 Cloud Croft - An officer was dispatched to assist AMR with a 61-year-old man, who was having chest pains. He was transported to University Hospital by AMR.

2:44 p.m., 30000 Fairway Vista - Residents, who had been away for a while, were informed about the city’s ordinance concerning automatic sprinkler systems.

6:16 p.m., 31000 block of Meadow Creek - A resident told police he heard two shots fired and spotted a dead buck in the area. The officer contacted the game warden, who said he’d look into the matter.

MONDAY, NOV. 5

12:06 p.m., 29000 No Le Hace - A 51-year-old man told AMR and a responding officer that he had passed out in his bathroom after feeling dizzy. The resident was transported to Methodist Hospital by AMR.
