ImageSuzanne Baker (right) of Cibolo Creek Alpacas is preaching to the choir as she explains the characterisitics of her alpaca fleece to an appropriate T-shirt-wearing knitting hobbyist from Dallas who came to the Kendall County Fairgrounds in Boerne this past weekend for the Kids & Ewe and Llamas Too showcase of fibers from animals including sheep, llamas and alpacas.

Image Donna Browne (right), of the Double D Alpaca Ranch in Sisterdale, says she has nine alpacas and describes them as sweet, gentle and good with children.
