SATURDAY, NOV. 24 A farmers’ market is held 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday at the Leon Springs Dance Hall, 24135 W. Interstate 10, in the parking lot at the westbound access road at Boerne Stage Road. Vendors offer a variety of wares from fresh produce to homemade foodstuffs, plants and more. The Boerne Dance Festival and Holiday Shopping Bazaar will offer a free opportunity to see dynamic entertainment while shopping, eating and enjoying the festive atmosphere at the Boerne Convention & Community Center, 820 E. Adler Road. Performances begin at 10 a.m. and run each 15 minutes until 6 p.m. A photographer will be on site for dance pictures, along with face painters and hair designers for children. SUNDAY, NOV. 25 St. Mark Presbyterian Church hosts a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Boerne Imaging Center next to the church at 128 West Bandera Road. The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center is giving out T-shirts and movie tickets encourage donors to help get the blood bank stocked up for the holiday season. THURSDAY, NOV. 29 The music of Miguel del Aguila is featured at 7:30 p.m. tonight and Sunday at the First United Methodist Church of Boerne, 205 E. James St. Selections include Tango Trio, Charango Capriccioso, Clocks, Life is a Dream, Presto II and Salon Buenos Aires.
