Burglary of vehicle

Oct. 30, 3:16 p.m., 5000 block of Broadway: A driver reported his vehicle had been broken into and a backpack containing a laptop computer and iPod had been stolen.

Criminal mischief

Nov. 1, 4:54 p.m., 200 block of Anslee: Police responded to a woman who said during the week prior, someone had hit or kicked the side of her car, causing damages.

Theft of vehicle

Nov. 1, 5:28 p.m., 4800 block of Broadway: After returning to pick up a vehicle at a parking lot, the owners found it had been stolen. The local towing company did not have the car. The vehicle was entered into the Texas Crime Information Center database as stolen.

Criminal mischief

Nov. 2, 3 p.m., 4600 block of Broadway: A restaurant worker reported that an unknown person had entered the restroom and intentionally ripped a sink from the wall.

Theft

Nov. 2, 7 p.m., 5300 block of Broadway: A woman reported that within the past week, her laptop computer had been stolen from her workplace. The information was logged into the Texas Crime Information Center database as stolen.

Theft

Nov. 4, 3:29 p.m., 4800 block of Broadway: A woman reported her purse was stolen from a sample table at a local supermarket where she was an employee. The woman said she had already called her bank to cancel her debit and credit cards, and signed a prosecution warrant.
