Get ready for Prom 2008, “Big City Lights.” The Smithson Valley prom committee has been hard at work putting together what promises to be the best prom ever.

Prom 2008 will have the look and feel of a night in New York City. The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center will be the site of the annual event on May 10, 2008.

Tickets to the event are $65, but right now you can take advantage of “early bird” pricing of $25 per ticket for the month of December only.

This would make a great stocking stuffer for junior and senior students. Don’t miss this opportunity as ticket prices will be going up in January and February to $35; March 2008 pricing will be $45, and starting April 18, tickets increase to the regular price of $65.

Tickets are available for purchase on Tuesdays, Wed-nesdays and Thursdays the first three weeks of December during all lunches in the SVHS cafeteria.
