Boerne-area students at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas were inducted into the school’s National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and National Honor Society (NHS) last week.

Among TMI’s new NJHS members are: Thomas Barker, Carli Domenico, Dale Fastle, Emily Miller, Zephyrine Parten and Julian Roberts, all of Boerne.

New Boerne-area members of the school’s NHS chapter are: Graham Bates, Alison Miller and Andrew Washburn of Boerne; and Alexandra Grizzle, Eric Oldfather, Claire Owen-Schubnell and Kevin Presley.

NHS was established in 1921, and NJHS in 1929, to recognize outstanding high-school and middle-school students. Chosen by their schools, members have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character (and citizenship for NJHS). More than a million students participate in NHS and NJHS through chapters found in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, many U.S. territories, Puerto Rico and Canada.
