The Boerne ISD board of trustees congratulated BHS AP teachers Dec. 3 for their students’ performance on the 2007 college board advanced placement examinations. BHS AP students achieved results above state and national averages for college level courses. As a result, AP students obtained a significant number of college credits before their high school graduation and have superior knowledge as they begin their university careers. One recent 2007 graduate of BHS summed up the sentiments of many when he said, “Entering college with many AP credits is indeed an achievement, but it’s an achievement of these educators just as much as mine.”
