Corbett Junior High School students held a fundraiser during their annual Spirit Week to benefit one of their own and her family, which recently lost their home to a fire. Student votes involved 10 teachers and administrators, the highest voter-getter being the “winner” of the Kiss-a-Pig contest. A tie between Principal Jay Muennink and Vice Principal Leslie Thompson meant both had to kiss the oinker in front of the student body during a Nov. 8 homecoming rally.
