Windcrest Lions complete dictionary drive

The Windcrest Lions Club has completed its annual distribution of dictionaries to local North East School District campus. The club this fall provided 632 students at Camelot, Montgomery, Walzem and Windcrest elementary schools with dictionaries that the youngsters can retain as they progress in their education.

This is the third year for Walzem and Windcrest, meaning that all schools in grades three through fifth have received dictionaries while Camelot and Montgomery are in their first year of distribution.

Each year the Windcrest Lions repeat the project so that new third graders in 2008-09 will receive their personal copies.

New students entering fourth or fifth graders who did not receive dictionaries last year, also received copies. For more information about the dictionary project, visit online at: www.windcresttx.lionwrap.org.
