Murder/suicide on Fox Grove
Dec. 1, 1 a.m. 9100 block of Fox Grove
Complainant and suspect were transported to the medical examiner’s office by ambulance. It appears that the suspect shot the complainant, then himself in an apparent murder/suicide.

Auto theft report questioned
Dec. 5, between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. 5900 block of Cliff Bank
Complainant stated that an unknown person stole her car. She had parked her car in the driveway, where it was taken sometime in the day. She received a phone call from Leon Valley Police Department that her vehicle had been involved in an accident. The complainant seemed very nervous when talking to the San Antonio Police Department. An officer reported that the car did not appear stolen. There was no damage to the car to indicate that it was stolen. All valuables were secured in the vehicle and the driver kept the car doors locked and hazards on. When notified that the validity of her report was in question, the complainant said that her “daughter” had lost her car keys at school.

Man threatened in his yard
Dec. 7, 4 p.m. 1700 block of Dennler Drive
Man said a group of juveniles were standing in front of his yard, and he thinks they were trying to set his brush pile on fire. When he tried to confront the group, they ran off and one of them shouted, “We’ll get you. You’re next.”

Christmas decor attacked

Dec. 9, 8:58 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. 10500 block of Rocking M Trail
Officer responded to a few calls of criminal mischief involving Christmas decorations, and one involving a solar-powered light. In one instance, after responding to a call, an officer found Christmas lights along the driveway and walkway that were smashed. In another case, homeowner reported decorations were knocked over and in a third incident, complainant reported that someone has smashed solar-powered lights. Investigation pending.

Lawn equipment stolen
Dec. 5, 10 p.m. 8800 block of Shade Tree
Man reports that a $500 Braun blower and 2 Echo chainsaws ($300 each) were taken from the bed of his truck. He did not see anybody and there were no witnesses.

Lost wallet returned
Dec. 2, 10 p.m. 13300 block of Huntsman Road
Man found a black and red wallet containing a driver’s license, Social Security card and Fort Sam Houston ID and returned it to the authorities.
